toolkit recommendations

I have put together tool boxes in the past for larger RVs but for the Tab we have on order, I'm wanting to downsize to save space. Does anyone have a recommendations of a general purpose, ready-made compact/travel tool set?

Depends on what you need.

The T@Bs have those wonderful square hole screws

, so you need a driver or bits to fit them.

Other than that I would venture to say not much different/less than you have in an RV.

I've got the bits, hammer, hack saw, snips/cutter, sockets for the lug nuts and a breaker bar, tape, rubber mallet, couple of different pry bars.

Basics, screwdriver(s), a high quality adjustable wrench, pliers, electrical tape, test light, gloves (in case you need to change a tire). Jack, lug wrench that fits. That's about all you really need.

Socket for lug nuts and a torque wrench. We are supposed to check that and it is now my lug wrench.
Harbor freight has a Super coupon right now for a 1/2" torque wrench. $5 with coupon!
I needed a 3/4" thin wall deep socket for my Tab400 BDL. Also a short extension to clear the tire.

I would second the jack, but note that the lift point for tire changing is a steel lip right behind the tire on our 400 and not very wide so make sure your jack can fit and engage safely when the tire goes flat.
