    In a pinch, Clingwrap on the outside of the vent will work while camping. It won't stay on during travel. First hand experience.....

    @hymie Have you been pleased with your 7350 and vent cover? I'm trying to make a decision between the 7350 and the maxxfan 7500.

    @Homebodyatheart 2.0 will likely be a variant of one I saw on the fb group. The built an aluminum frame that had a checkerplate cover that hinged up and stays similar to the t@b windows. Very slick and looked great. I'll see if I can find a pic....

    @dmerzbac Love this mod! What is really appealing is that you do not need to disturb the housing and seals. Less than hour to do both fan and cover. Ordered the upgrade kit direct from FF and got it at half (!!!!!!!) the price that I was quoted at several dealerships.  Quiet and very low power consumption. Rain sensor and auto open / close are almost pointless with cover though. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

    @hymie Was the vent cover a fairly easy install also? I would guess screws were needed to attach.

    @dmerzbac 8 self tapping screws (stainless steel - included) .. Cover took 15 minutes.

    @hymie, did you install a plain 2 wire rocker switch for the Jensen, or an LED lit rocker switch (has 3 connectors)?

    @Ratkity I put in a three connector rocker (leftovers from another project)  but only used two. Didn't want the parasitic drain of a lit switch.
