Camping at caprock Canyon state park, Texas. Camping in an American bison preserve. It was great. Bull is almost as large as our t@b max s. Not a lot of the camp set up but this was too sweet to not post.
Tab OutBack check ride...Pinecrest Lake, near the Sonora Pass along HWY 108 in California. If you look real close on the right side of the rear of the trailer you can see the Autobot Symbol... : )
@verna Sounds pretty primitive, do they have at least have a dump station there?

@foxden I'll have to take a look tomorrow. We got them a few years ago at Camping World, not as easy to carry around as other chairs, but you can sit in it all day, it is very comfortable.

@pthomas745, that's a very cool photo of the milky way! Can I ask how you captured it?
If you speak "camera;" It is a 30 second exposure at F2.8 and ISO 3200 with an 11mm lens. And a tripod, a computer program (Stellarium) that told me when and where the Milky Way would appear, and a compass. And an alarm to get me up at 2AM! I knew the Milky Way would be high in the southern sky after midnight. And, with some Lightroom processing, it turned out nicely. The shooting isn't hard, the processing is a bit more involved than a "normal" shot. I've played around with stars, Milky Way, and meteor showers for about 4 years, off and on, and it is a lot of fun. Except that 2 AM part. I do like this shot with the Tab, but I've seen so many spectacular shots of the Milky Way I know I need more practice!
I learned all this primarily by reading a website called The Lonely Speck. It is a great place to start. There are many other sites that help with the planning of the shot and the processing of what you capture. Send me a private message if you want and I can provide a couple more suggestions.
The biggest kick I got this week was: The Tab getting the blessing of the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile in Lone Pine.
Heaton Bay Campground, Summit County Colorado. Finally get to setup our full camp
