Nope, taken in July, we've got snow on the ground and the t@b is snuggly tucked away in the garage. Just wishful thinkin' on my part, can't wait until spring.

You had me going there for a minute, because I know there's a BIG storm and more REALLY cold weather headed both your way, and ours! Thanks for sharing the photos, looks like a really good time!

Outback under the stars and the bright waxing moon. At Indian Cove Campground, Joshua Tree National Park. The lights of Twenty Nine Palms in the background. Temps dropped to the mid-30's the last night, and I got to test the Alde system on my second trip out. Driving back through Cabazon, CA, I stopped and received The Blessing Of The Brontosaurus at the dinosaur sculptures on the side of I-10. Or, maybe "Dinny The Dinosaur" thought I delivered a new egg.
Last camping trip and last pic of the year. Robert H. Treman State Park near Ithaca NY. So-so campground but the hiking trails to and thru Enfield Glen are beautiful!
That was my backyard, growing up.

Aloha! First boondocking experience in Quartzsite this year for the RTR. It was cold Jan 8 to the 25th. Enjoying my new awning...it held up very well in the winds also.

Jalama Beach County Park, part of the Santa Barbara county park system. Southwest of Vandenberg and Lompoc on the coast, 14 miles off Pacific Coast Highway. The campground itself is not too scenic, but is well maintained (mostly) and has a nice (pricy) store and little grill/restaurant. There is a long rocky beach to explore, with dolphins and the Western Snowy Plover all around. The wind along this part of the coast can be quite brutal, but I was very lucky to be there on two perfectly calm days, so the surf was perfect and drew a decent crowd of surfers one morning. I was still pretty wary about the wind, so I only put up the awning for an hour or so just for the practice, but it really was not an issue. The spots up higher on the hill have a beautiful view across the Pacific. Amtrak's Coast Startlights pass just behind the Park once or twice a day. So, the spots aren't too scenic, but walk 25 yards over the dunes and you get to see a rare kinda desolate California beach. .
After a little snowfall in the Mt. Baker parking lot. Arrived the afternoon before in a downpour/giant snowflake storm, glad the T@B is quick to set up, and was warm as soon as I got in. I was soaked.
Accidental find in Spicewood, TX where all the SPs are still filled with Winter Texans. That's not a derogatory term here, by the way. We love having them!
John Pennekamp State Park is on Key Largo, not so far from the Florida mainland. It is mostly underwater and famous for snorkeling the reef. Our Keys trip was planned as a snorkelfest, unfortunately the wind was blowing and the water was dirty (so churned up that a person could not see) for most of our trip, so the plans changed a bit but we had great fun fishing (it turns out that salt water fish bite better in dirty water since they can't see the lines) and buying strange fruit at the farmers market and just looking around. It was also really cold in VA and quite nice in the keys. But I digress, as you enter the keys there is a lot of chain link fence on both sides of A1A, that is a crocodile preserve, very close to, famous for snorkeling, John Pennekamp. However the reef is offshore, maybe too far for crocks, I dunno.

I know it's posted elsewhere but I thought it should be up here too. We had a very relaxing few days at San Clemente State Park, CA.
