I purposefully bought my T@B to use at sheepdog trials. I travel with anywhere from 2 - 5 dogs, which are kennelled in my van. In warm weather, they are tethered to the camper so they can enjoy the shade. All are border collies, except for the small jadgterrier. None come inside the T@B, thought the jadgterrier sometimes does for a short evening play time. But he soon becomes a pest, so out to the van he goes at night.

I got my T@b because my mini Schnauzer hates camping in a tent. Hates! He tolerates the T@b as the lesser of two evils. It's the most expensive dog carrier I ever bought. My other dog will stay anywhere as long as it's with us. So... 2 dogs, one 16 & 35#'s.2018 T@B CS-S on an Outback axle

My wife and I camp with our ~30 lb mini Labradoodle. She sleeps on the front bench of our CS-S.
She is a great adventure partner. Does real well on car rides, loves long hikes, and even tolerates time in the canoe.

Gabby went with me for the first time on my snowy camping trip last week. It rained during the day and snowed at night so her time on the trails was limited. By the second day, I think she was starting to question this whole tiny house thing. But overall, she did very well and I think a few more times out will convince her that this really is fun!

Love the comment above about the most expensive dog carrier ever - me too! I have a 53# Catahoula who hated tent camping, so I just got a t@b and hope she feels differently. We've been checking it out in the carport and she seems enthusiastic, so we'll see. I'll plan some fun trips - hopefully with friends - before a long road trip next year.
One of my main concerns is how to keep the inside clean with her shedding and tracking. Will probably need to make cushion covers and such.
-
I have two 15# dogs who love the dirt and exploring under the bushes. While they do not shed, they do collect leaves and pine needles. I have one of those outdoor 6x8 RV mats. It allows us a place to knock off some of the dirt and debris. I keep a brush and an old towel in the storage next to the door if needed. I have a blanket that I tuck around the passenger side cushion (I am thinking of sewing elastic in the covers like a fitted sheet); that is where they sleep if not on the floor. I have a hand broom and dust pan if needed for the floor. At night I have rug I put down the center aisle, that way I am not tracking any dirt into bed with me.nolagringa said:One of my main concerns is how to keep the inside clean with her shedding and tracking. With my previous dogs, who did shed a lot, I had a lint roller for the furniture. Also had a hand vacuum with a roller bar with teeth to rake up the dog hair.2017 T@B 320 S Jeep Cherokee 3.2L V6

The DH hasn't quite made it into that category yet, but has managed a few days in the "dog house" now and again, although not usually when we're camping.2017 t@b sofitel(Dr@gonsFly)TV 2015 Silverado 2500hd(Behemoth). Wyandotte, Michigan.

2 longhaired mini daschunds, 14 lbs each.

45 pound American Water Spaniel. Just the right size for traveling with my wife and I. At night he sleeps on the floor at the foot of the bed and when the bed is up there is plenty of room for the three of us to be in the T@B on a rainy day. One of the reasons I bought the T@B was as a rolling grouse camp and it has worked out well.

We take our two little rat terrier rescues, Cookie (13.5 lbs) and Blossom (12 lbs). They love being with us no matter what we do. They really enjoy hiking and sleeping with us. We're hoping to go canoeing in 2018 and we already a PFD for each. We named our T@B "H@ppy T@ils".Gail & John

I camp with my 50# Terrier/Shepard mix... I just recently moved from WA to CA and am SHOCKED at how many places in this state don't allow dogs even in the camp grounds! I though CA was such a dog friendly state, but apparently not! I used to love going up to Canada when I was in WA, pretty much every provincial/national park allowed dogs on all the trails and you never saw poop just left behind.
