Hey Nathan and anyone else, another axle grease question. Our T@B Q (2014) has buddy bearings with a zerk fitting. Do you have to remove the wheels, or will just pumping grease into the bearing do the same job? Nate
@khenke unless your trailer is many years old or you have a known bad (leaking) seal consider using the Dexter Axle grease fitting for your annual / 12,000 mile grease change. That is what Dexter designed them for. These are not 'bearing buddies' of years past, they are a well designed grease distribution system for both…

The EZ Lube system was developed for boat trailers, to re-grease the wheel bearings, if they got submerged in water (especially salt water) during a boat launch. The average hand pump grease gun, one would use for this in the filed, is not likely to create enough pressure to blow out the rear seal, unless the wheel bearing…

I had concerns about their competence after they told me that I had no need for an extra take home gallon of Rhomar. They "explained" it was a closed system. It is not. Evaporation/leaks can occur. Then of recent, I took my TAB…
Those look just like the sealed bearings, nuts and clips for the DM T@Bs. I thought the newer LG T@Bs had different, serviceable (grease repack) bearings.
