Yeah, I have a backup camera now and it is so easy to get it lined up, dead-on. It can be a little harder with shadows. I will have to get some reflective tape - that's brilliant!
So I’ve been trying to tap the side marker light on the nuCamp Tab 400. Both wires are yellow. Context: I’m trying to tap the side marker light to power my rear backup camera.
@Jimjanhaley, to answer your original question, there is not any factory installed wiring for a rear view camera, nor a TaB specific accessory wiring harness. Most users installing a backup camera use the license light wire as a power source, and Bluetooth, WiFi or other wireless connectivity for the video feed to a…
For me on my Tab 400 it was stiffening the unadjustable Froli springs on my bed with help from Froli USA and adding a memory foam topper, the wireless backup camera and led reversing lamps.
VerIna - In general, do you have any trouble with the backup camera getting dirty so you can't see anything - read that's a problem. Wouldn't be for hookup as you can just wipe it.

I have a wireless backup camera that I want to wire into the license plate light (I know I have to have my running lights "on" for it to be powered). I've seen lots of posts where people say they did that and the "wiring was easy"...but nobody seems to provide wiring details. I have a red and black wire on the camera and a…
@Dalehelman I was looking at your backup light solution and the 7 pin access box you used for wiring. I want to wire a wireless backup camera (that just doesn't sound right) to the back of my T@B but can't find a good place to wire into the running lights for power. If I can get wire long enough, could I do the same thing…
I too had issues with backup camera not working with no signal. So, this is what I did to resolve my issue. I found that there were issues with a 2019 Silverado trucks not providing enough power to send a signal to the backup camera. After several months with this problem I contacted the warranty department of NuCamp and…
