@CarJess - I remember seeing pictures of a hose draining into a container outside the TaB on a clamshell model. Look for a tube under the front side of the trailer.
Older trailers like a basic Thor TaB T16, share their basic components with other trailers built during the same time period. Do you have a RV Service center (not necessarily a TaB dealer service)? If so, they should be able to walk you through the basic operation of the components on your T16. Back in the 1970,
I bought a used Kenskill trailer built in 1959, which came without a manual, the model no longer in production, and the local RV Center near me, got me up and running with the basic info I needed, and they gave the trailer a once over, serviced the wheel bearings and got me ready to hit the road. cheers

There never was a very useful owners manual provided. The manual that was sometimes provided was known for generic descriptions and incorrect info on specifics. I probably still have mine somewhere. It's useless! The User Manual Files and Dutchman Archive here have most of the individual component manuals for the DM trailers including the ALKO chassis, axle and brakes, CoolCat HP, Hydroflame furnace, WFCO converter and several others. These together are a far better owners manual than anything factory provided. Have fun!
Thanks guys. Can you tell me where the grey water goes, and how to empty it? We don’t see a holding tank! It’s just the kitchen sink, no bathroom!
It just goes straight out the bottom, so if you don't open up the cap underneath, the sink backs up almost immediately. I bought a cheap oil container for DIY people who change their own oil and use that. The grey water drains into it while it's lying down, and once full, I put the plug into it and walk it over to somewhere I can dump it. Cost $8 and holds 15 qts.
Hi CarJess, I also have a T16 (2005) without the bathroom. I've pretty much found documents on everything except the heater and its start up procedure. I sure would like to get that info...
Anyway , where did you get your 2008 from ? I'm trying to find out if there is site geared towards buying and selling Dutchman/Thor/T@B trailers. Thank you for any feedback....
Please explain the water system to me. I just bought a 2006 Dutchman tab, clamshell. I see a hose hookup on the outside. I also see a potable water tank.arevthe two connected or is the hose connection just for use at a campsite? How do you winterize it? Where do I put the antifreeze?
@Santo - the original forum for Dutchman TaB owners was a Yahoo forum since disbanded. The info is now available via this forum: https://groups.io/g/tabtrailers

Yes, the hose connection is for the "city water" at a campsite. You should have a water pressure reducer on the hose when connected.
The fresh water jug can be filled by pulling it out of the cabinet OR bringing a water hose to the large opening. When running off of water on the just, you need to turn on the the water pump (a switch near the faucet), then turn on the faucet and water should pull from the jug. (The large lid on the jug needs to be a bit loose for water to flow).
To winterize, you should put some of the pink stuff in your water jug, and turn on the water and let it run through the pump until the water runs pink. That's it!!!
