Wow; that's good that they found the problem.  I'm not so wow'ed about them finding loose wires (either ground or power wires) at the converter.  I can see how a loose wire could cause problems like that with intermittent connections overloading a fuse.  Best of luck now that it's fixed.  I'm sure it was worth the long trip to and from the dealership now that they fixed it.
I found that in these light trailers, if the wires are not snugged down good and tight, they will get loose.

I wired a Progressive Industries surge protector in line and after uneventful 2 trips (season then ended), started having a power problem after de-winterizing. The symptoms were as confusing and perplexing enough to have me going in circles for 8 hours! Traced every wire, tested tightness (didn't know about PXL's junction box underneath, but subsequent inspection found it solid and ok). The meter on the surge protector kept giving no error codes. None. Finally, I gave up and pulled the unit. When I opened it up, one wire was actually not even connected, but arcing to the lead. OMG (it was a crispy wire too). I removed the unit for now and am using the portable one atm. If I put the permanent one back in, a little dab of blue locktite is going on the screw down threads that keep the wire tight against where it belongs.

No, I didn't take the T@B off-road and I'm pretty good at wiring, so I was a bit shocked at how quickly the connections got loose. Lesson for me, check and re-check tightness and be extra careful. Take extra steps to make sure things can't escape and loosen up. Incorporate wire checks into my pre-flight checks and periodic inspections.

I'm not saying this happens a lot, just happened to me and something I installed.

Ratkity, Progressive is known for backing up their products. I bet if you contacted them they'd replace it. The arcing may have damaged the electronics in ways that aren't visible.
