How many bayonet sewer pipe caps have you broken?

In a little over a year I've broken both black and grey water caps. Been as carefully as possible putting caps back on ( I'm not that strong ) but the bayonets just break off with little effort.
Is it me or have others had the same problem?

None here so far - Two years of full-time use.

I've had 3 broken  - One had a cracked and evently broken bayonet (black tank), another two just disappeared mysteriously on the road (one black and one gray). The current one that is troublesome is for the gray and is loose connecting to the nubs. I put a piece of paper to make the cap tighter as a "on the road" fix. Not sure what I'm going to do in the long run.

In one year I've managed to break one, and come close a few times. I blame it on the Outback platform making it hard to reach.

I can see where it can happen on the Outback.

We have an Outback. But I actually lay on my back to put on the caps. 
Started putting a spare in the T@B.

You can get them from Amazon or Camping World very cheaply. The factory would almost certainly have to mark them up to cover their handling costs.

Can get them at most Walmarts also.

I keep an extra from Walmart. I actually need to get another spare because I gave one to another owner.

Broken one in the three years we have had it, early on.  Easy replacement from Wal-Mart.

Both the originals that came with my T@B broke after one season. I replaced them with a different model that had four robustly attached bayonets (vs. two flimsy ones). Thus far, both seem to be holding up fine.

I agree about getting the "four banger". It is much stronger than the two!

I'm pretty sure I ordered the Camco 39452. It's similar to the one SAM posted but without the hose connection.

If you look carefully, you will see there is quite a bit of plastic attaching the bayonets. The one I replaced were pretty skimpy in that area, and that was where they cracked.

$3.77 + tax in the RV section at Walmart. I just replaced the one with the hose connection I Garvey away.  I just get the hose connection ones because I want it for the gray water, but definitely NOT for the black water, and I don't have to keep two on hand.

Mine's been broken for a year now but one side still holds.  I just need to get off my lazy duff and get a replacement before the other side breaks!
