    Two weekday nights at Red Fleet State Park, Utah. Had the campground to ourselves one night - love shoulder season on weekdays! We knew ahead of time the campground is a parking lot, so reserved the best site with hookups so our dogs could rest in air conditioning,  rec. The campground has 22 sites but only 4 with hookups. The best hookup site is #22, as you get a grassy "front yard" and a honeylocust tree. 

    Restrooms are fair, and no showers. But that's ok because the swimming is GREAT! Lots to do in the area including watersports of course (boat rentals closed for the season), hiking in desert to arches or dinosaur tracks, or up the road in Ashley National Forest. Would come back again for sure, with kayaks or SUPs next time.

    Lost Resort Campground in South Colorado last night.  Beautiful fall colors from Pagosa Springs up to South Fork. The camp owners put me right next to a babbling brook...  fell asleep fast.  Got down to 36F overnight, but Alde worked flawlessly...  love that heater!

    @ericnliz : Ever since my hip replacement, I can't climb trees higher than 50ft.  I should ask for my money back.  So for now it's quadcopters. We have a full size long range drone with goggles, but lately have only brought a Dobby.  We got a GREAT deal on this pint sized 4k camera drone off eBay.  It fits in your hand, is much quieter than your average Parrot or DJI, has tracking, orbit and similar modes, and with a Mi wifi range extender will fly pretty dang high.  Shorter battery life and the batteries complain about the cold, but more convenient for quik piks, and so far doesn't bother the neighbors.

    @2Cougs I'm booked there for two nights next May after the rally! My neighbors highly recommended the place. I believe I'm in site 60 on the river, can you tell me how it looks? Fall looks like a great time to be there, hopefully spring won't be raining!
