First camping trip of 2019 - R. Shaefer Heard Campground, West Point Lake, GA. A little cool and windy, but a beautiful lake camp site. Friendly staff. Saw two bald eagles and several deer. Will be going back when weather warms up!

Maybe winter's over? The 3-4" of fresh snow that several weather forecasting sources had predicted for the weekend never showed up.

Denver is supposed to be in the 70s this week with 50s in the mountains. Looks like we have to wait another 9 months for fresh powder in the Rockies.

Our camping season started this week with a trip to Shenandoah River State Park here in Virginia.

A stop on Skyline Drive in the National Park enroute to take in the view. Those senior park passes come in handy.

We had gorgeous weather in the upper 70's and upper 40's to lower 50's at night, and low humidity. Some campers are visible in the trees, and this nice bike path goes right along the river.

On the blue bell section of the trail along the river, the Virginia Blue Bells were in full bloom. We were here a couple weeks later last year & they were already fading, but perfect timing this year.

The trees were just beginning to get their leaves, so not much green yet, but in a couple weeks that will all be changed.
From the bottom left to the right edge is the blue bell section of trail that starts in the campground close to our campsite #25.

Ponderosa Campground, Payson, AZ, part of the National Forest services. Water available, dump available for $10, bear boxes at each campground, and large Ponderosa Pines.

And the the first picture is why I stopped in the early afternoon! Luckily the snow didn’t stick to the roads.

@Verna, I looked at Amazon - that is where we bought our King Camp. @Sboatcruise has one that has a door that unzips to create another awning and the sides roll up, too. I bet you could make this work for the 400. We use ours over our galley.

Just a couple weeks ago, the Periwinkle groundcover was loaded with blue flowers - too bad they couldn't sync up with the azaleas.

Last weekend at Isle Du Bois Campground at Ray Roberts State Park near Pilot Point TX. Had one of the most amazing sunsets I’ve ever seen. Sunset photo is not doctored, filtered, colored, or otherwise manually modified one bit.

We camped at Red Cliffs Rec. area near St. George, UT to test our new Yamaha generator/air conditioner. The best part is, it's very close to our home.
