It is strange that we are willing to order a trailer, in the $30.000 dollar range and have it be a mystery as to what you may or may not get.

I suspect anyone who contacts them with Air8 issues, NuCamp will have a solution. Probably an upgraded Air8 that I’ve seen discussed here that fits in the same space. That’s just the kind of company they are. All in all, since that’s the only issue we’ve had in over 6000 miles with our 2020 400 BDL (that gets bounced all over the place) , we’re extremely pleased with their quality and customer service. You go on other sites of “expensive well made luxury” brands and hear of leaking roofs, constant maintenance needs, difficult approval process to get warranty service, poor customer support, cabinets coming off, high repair costs, various quality issues. We have had NONE of that. We love our camper.

Bad warranty service is purely on the dealers.    Warranty work never pays as well as a cash customer.

@Amazonica Oh wow. It’s a storage container specifically built in to store the sewer hose? Mine definitely does not have that. Can you post a photo, I’d love to see where they put that. In my back under the bed I have the general outside storage compartment, the Air8, batteries and Alde.
Yes, and I think it would work for just the hose part but I like to leave my 90 degree elbow on. The tube is straight. I use it to store my long handled cleaning brush. Never have put the stinky slinky in it.

We DO have the sewer hose storage!  My dealer never showed it to us and we haven’t been curious enough to wonder what that cap was.  😂😜

Do you have the Solo edition?

@Missstsomewhere @Denny16 My 2020 T@B 400 has the sewer hose storage “pipe” as well as the Alde Flo system.  The Alde Flo does not interfere with the ability to locate the gray storage pipe. It was “born” in June 2019.

When I look closely at the photo under the bed I notice plumbing going to a Alde heat register in place of the sewer hose storage.

Yes, in this photo, the battery/inverter and Alde Flow unit are where the sewer hose holder pipe was.  You can shift the main Alde unit forward and just squeeze in the Flo unit in front of the sewer hose storage pipe.  The enclosed box in the rear is the Alde heat exchanger.

I see the difference now.  Looks like in order to install that new valve control panel and its plumbing, NuCamp had to sacrifice the sewer hose storage and shift the Alde components to the rear.

Here is my Alde compartment on our 2020 model:

@denny16 Do you mean the Alde FLOW? The hot water heating system.

Just took deliver of a 2020 standard with small fridge and got the Air8.  It has the Alde Flow and the sewer hose storage.  We will be tracking the Air8 performance and will definitely record a warranty claim if not up to expectations.

I was scanning through this thread (again) in anticipation of our 400 coming in late March - and noticed in this picture, what appears to be a MaxxAir fan cover, or is that the standard fantastic fan cover in disguise?

It looks to be a Maxxair  thafan rathern Fantastic fan. Could be a customer extra rather than a change?

The Maxxair is an upgrade.  It still comes with the fantastic fan as standard.  I had the Maxxair upgrade done on my 2021 400.

Wished I had that done at the factory, now it will cost more money and time after the fact.

Doesn’t every 400 have the Alde Flow? I thought I read on the Alde site in 2016 Alde made the switch from 6 gal hot water heater to the Flow.

No, my late 2018 TaB400 has an Alde does not have the Alde Flow, but I am looking into having one installed.
    cheers

It’s actually called the Alde Flow (with a W) as in “water flows through it.”  I believe anything with the 3020 has it. (Correcting so no misinformation is out there).

Thanks, yes that was my understanding, but my Alde 3020 does not (late TaB400)

My 2019 400 has the Alde Flow, as it became standard with the new 3020 Alde’s with the 2019 models.

The window over the bed in Berrger's photo of his 2021 (seen better on the 1st page of this thread) is significantly higher than previous models.

The spare tire is under the tongue on a crank down bracket.

I Noticed that too.  Can't tell if the window was moved up a few inches or if the window is slightly smaller.

    Getting closer to delivery!

@TNOutback Yep it’s smaller, narrower than before, but it works.
