    Here I am tonight about ten minutes from home near Little Rock on the Arkansas river. If you are ever in Little Rock, I highly recommend Maumelle Park. You can preview each site on YouTube. It is a very fine place to camp for all.

    @ann_from_pa, great set up. I'd love to know more about your awning as I hope to DIY one. Yours has such a nice taut pitch. Did you sew it? Can you provide details? Thanks.

    @JPRoland, I envy you camping so close to home in winter. In order to camp 10 minutes from my home, I'd need a snow plow on my tow vehicle! Campsite looks prime.

    Just back from a 2-night boondocking trip at a local provincial park. It was my 3rd overnight trip in the 'new to me' 2014 T@B 320 S. This was the first trip with hot, running water and I even tried out the shower! A couple of discoveries and things I will improve: 
    - I'll be adding a swiveling bubbler to the kitchen faucet to prevent water splashing onto the counter/around the base of the faucet.
    - bring more kitchen and bath towels!

    Ok @Mellow_Yellow you've got me.  You are just back from a 3 day camping trip in British Columbia Canada.  The temp in Victoria today was 44 with a predicted low in the mid 30s, if I read right.  How come it looks like you are here in Florida?

    @SweetlyHome - Yeah, I'm in the "banana belt", just no actual bananas. lol. It is not that warm here but signs of spring abound! Night time is still around freezing, but the ornamental trees are blooming and the crocus are up! I'm a rugged, backcountry type, now "middle aged", who toughed it out with "van camping" for the last 6 years. So having the Alde heater and hot, running water is like the "T@B Hilton" for me!

    A first camp out in your back yard/field is a grand idea, to work out any issues and learn how everything works.  Have fun, and be safe.

    You are all making me green with envy lol - we've done a couple nights on the driveway but we're still mostly on lockdown so very few places to go especially since we can't (yet) dewinterize and be self-sufficient with our facilities.  Another 6 weeks or so should do it - in the meantime we're seriously considering a Walmart 'campground' or Harvest Host that does takeout wine :)
