Potholes State Park (WA)... VERY windy, glad we had the alde with temps getting down to twenties during the night. Don't forget that when you have a very large golden retriever in with you and the heat on, the carbon monoxide alarm can go off when he farts!!!

NorCal T@B Rally, May 2021
37 trailers at the Olema Campground.
It's the first time that this group has gotten together since October 2019.
We had to make some changes (no group potluck dinners) but it was so nice to see everyone again.

Last weekend's 3-night trip to Pacific Rim National Park. This was a bit of a stressful trip because it was a mental health break from working from home and the entire province of British Columbia is under a (covid-19) travel lock-down at the moment, except for the area you live in. Luckily I live on Vancouver Island

I had my canopy up for the 1 rainy day that I spent snuggled in with the Alde purring away followed by 1 gloriously sunny day.

Here is my boondock campsite in George Washington National Park on the top of Bull Run Pass. I wouldn't recommend going up there unless you have a fairly rugged 4wd. It is a steep ride to the top. It's a nice spot right on the VA and WVA state line. At the ridge of the mountain, you can look to the west into West Virginia and look to the east into Virginia.

In order to fit into the small campsite, I had to dismantle the existing firepit. It's okay because it put it back better than it was before.

Oregon State Park LL Stub Stewart, foothills of coast range, off Hwy 26. Site 88. I was there mid May in perfect, but breezy weather. Nice park with full hook ups, clean bathrooms, and many trails.

Little River State Park in Waterbury, VT on the evening of 5/27. We watched the temperature go from 57 down to 50 while we were sitting beside the campfire. In the afternoon we said, Nah... we won't turn the Alde on tonight. We woke up at 38 outside with the Alde on and said, Yah..this is why we own a T@b!

For our maiden voyage we spent 4 nights at Wyalusing State Park in Wisconsin at the confluence of the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers. My wife and I are still alive and the camper is in one piece. We only used the 3-way Fridge and portable solar units...baby steps. We have several more 4 night trips planned for this summer and look forward to them.

Camping with six other T@BBERS at Pinegrove campsite in Flagstaff, AZ last weekend. Top is outside temp, next time of day, and finally the wonders of the Adle. I find 64 to be the upper limit. Anything warmer is just too warm.
