Adding a pic of at BLM Temple Mountain campground in Utah. Staying there for a week or two. At some point heading the rest of the way to Quartzsite, AZ (missed the flash floods last week). $15/day, or $7.50 with lifetime senior pass.

A couple weeks ago at Virginia's Occoneechee State Park, near the NC border. We enjoy this park for its beautiful woods, hiking trails, roomy layout, and only 1-1/2 hr drive from home. A view from our T@B's window, with steps down to a picnic table at our site #16, with our grill & lounge chairs. Lots of nice Beech trees here. We like this setup, which gets us farther off the road & into the woods. Hard to believe this was our first camping trip of the year, but it's been a busy one for us. This was also our first camping trip with our new Hyundai Palisade, and it performed admirably. It's a bit of a downsizing adjustment for us, after giving away our 20y/o Toyota Sienna van; so we may actually use the roof rack one of these days, if we take our inflatable boat, bicycles, etc. We've been spoiled by the Sienna's cavernous space with seats flattened &/or removed, but enjoy having a new & smaller vehicle that still carries a good amount.
