I purchased an ECHO brake controller along with my new TAB 320S Boondock last May (I am towing with a Tacoma without a towing package). The dealer installed it and synced it with my phone. Since then I lost my phone -- no problem I am told, the PIN and serial number are under the flap. But...not on my ECHO - its like a…
Hi hivemind -- I came across this wireless brake controller made by Curt. I searched for this on this Forum, and can't believe no one has mentioned using it? It appears to be an alternative to the Tenosha Brake Controller. I just got a new RV, the 2019 Honda Ridgeline which already comes with a towing package.…

We just got the Curt Echo wireless controller, super simple (just plug in, really) and no modifications to vehicle, works from your Wireless app on your phone. If I had known how easy it was I would not have bought at the dealer… CURT 51180 Echo Mobile Electric Trailer Brake Controller with Bluetooth-Enabled Smartphone…

That is why the hard wired under the das units need to be secured to the vehicle in a specific direction. They get a braking clue from the brake light…
Hi Jean, hate to bring negative vibes to your adventure but lots of people have issues with the Curt Wireless brake controller. There is a recent thread about it. I will find it and link to my post. I had one and it failed (causing trailer brakes to lock up) as is the case for most people who have used it. If it's not too…
