Hi T@bbers! Have tried to search to no avail. I am pondering making a permanent twin bed mount on my older DM Tab. I’m concerned that by attaching a structure to the existing seat it will damage the original framework with all the jostling, rattling what have you. I usually set up and take down during my travels and let’s…
Has anyone removed row of cabinets over the bed ? We have 2018 T@b 320s. Have hit head getting up . We like feet by kitchen and will be doing twin bed mod soon,so willing to remove cabinets and maybe put in nets to hold things . Would love to see pictures and would welcome any hints !
For those with 2021 and later T@Bs or twin bed mod, you can add a lagun mount to the front passenger side of the bed platform and put the table there. Mount it vertical and it works as a headboard so you can sleep with your head toward the front of the camper.
Finally finished my double twin bed mod, made a larger table and covered the Velcro on the wall where the cushions were with little signs and magnets with the furry Velcro side attached to the back. The signs were from Hobby Lobby and weren’t quite wide enough to cover all the Velcro stapled to the wall, so I made the…
Tried sheets with both twin and king set-up and quickly got tired of doing the set-up and breaking it down every eve and morning. In a throwback to the tent camping we are now using the twin bed set-up with sleeping bags, it has worked very well for us for the past 3 seasons, it's easy to set-up and break down.
We solved the bed issue of crawling over a partner in the night. One of us sleeps on the dinette bunk, so sort of a twin bed setup. I tend to day up late and read, by wife goes to bed early, and so this works out nicely. One can read, and the other sleep without disturbing each other. Cheers
We’re pretty much right with @MarkAl. Twin bed setup with room in the middle and thermostat at 60 or so. The heat flow seems pretty good in our 2021 320 S boondock.
We have a 320 S. We bought two twin-sized memory/gel foam pads and shortened them to fit sideways, wheel-to-wheel. Then we cut a little off the width of one so the total width filled the bed in the hitch-to-tail dimension. When soloing, I can leave the smaller one behind and sleep on a twin with the table in place.
We have our bed split in half, sometime solo and sometimes together, so we have twin fitted sheets on each half of the bed. They are too big, but just tuck them under. We don't use a top sheet, just our comforter. Works fine for us.
a) Please identify which T@B model you own – or plan to own. 2007 Dutchmen Q b) Which direction do you sleep? Heads under the back cabinets when hubby is along. Wheel to wheel on back cushions when I'm solo c) Do you make up the entire bed as configured above? Yes, when there's 2 of us. No, when only me. When It's myself…
