Why is it on the nüCamp factory tour, the show a cabinet shop, with CNC panel cutting units, with completed cabinets going down a slide to the assembly line below? The Birch cabinet panels they use may be pre-finished on one or both sides. But nüCamp also has a spray booth setup. So hard to tell how they do it, or what they…
If you were to take a trip to Sugarcreek, OH, they will give you a tour of the factory and show you everything they have to offer. It may be easier to find another dealer that does have a few in stock. I think General RV in Michigan usually stocks them. Looks like Eastside doesn't expect to get one in stock until August.
Austin at nuCamp got in contact with us. Learned quite a bit from our email exchanges. For scheduling it looks like July is the first opening that would work for us. Austin assured us that we could enjoy our Yellowstone trip and not worry about the floor. The process to replace the floor will take two days once we drop the…
Rad, that's why I recommend calling and talking to whomever answers and asking to be transferred to someone there. Both Ed and Marvin are great sources of information, but that means that they have a lot of work in the factory--answering questions, helping with problems, trouble-shooting, etc. That's why I don't refer…
In this thread of a really nice solar panel mod, the author has some nice diagrams of the aluminum bracing in the arc of the roof, and some photos of Tabs under construction. https://tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/4971/t-b-solar-panel-roof-mount-with-tilt-able-brackets-mod-for-under-300/p1 This is a search for…
Good question. My factory tours have never seen a line of clamshells being produced. The hatch outer skin is a solid piece of thin aluminum like the rest of the roof. I can only assume there are aluminum cross pieces to provide structure to the hatch like the rest of the roof. Here is how they prevent water intrusion at…
@Denny16 Yeah I know what Azdel. I’ve watched and rewatched Paul The Air Force Guy’s factory tour as well. The thread link I posted was about composite flooring in general and they mention Azdel. Let us know what you hear back from Nucamp but it sounds like we already have our answer from @n@narniaorwhat
FYI, you can use a bike pump and blow out plug to clear tour lines, too. I just did that today because my air compressor did not work and is at the factory repair center. I did both because we are expecting a cold and snowy winter this year. I might de-winterize once the compressor is back and just blow out the lines.
@4ncar, if you check some of the factory tour photos, you’ll see the water pipes at the front of the T@B are next to the outside wall, as are the water pipes under the shower area. With them being so close to the walls and the cold floor, they can freeze very quickly. And always remember that hot water freezes before cold…
As mentioned, Alde convector (radiator) for the bathroom. I have heard the heated floor stated many times, BUT in all the factory tour videos I have NOT seen any photos of under floor heat. It might be warm just due to the loop around the unit to/from the Alde producing some residual heat, BUT AFAIK there are no heating…
