Re: A newbie needs some quick opinions
Excess water can accumulate on the chloroplast panel covering the bottom of the Tab 400. The panel does not provide a completely watertight seal, so water from traveling down the road can get in that area. The overflow valve does not drain into the area you mentioned. It is directly behind the rear tire on the driver's side of the trailer.
We also have seen a few spots on our 23' Tab 400 that appear to glue bleed through. It is only in one spot and isn't very prominent, so we haven't worried about it.

Re: Mod: Warmer accent lights (LEDs) on 2023 TAB 320
Interesting. I wouldn't need all the colors. I added red so I wouldn't ruin my night vision when using a telescope and camping at dark sky campgrounds. Changed the outside light to red also.

Re: T@B 400 Alde corrosion
On my T@b there is a larger, probably 1-1/4" rubber plug in the floor with 3 smaller holes in it. The small rubber hose from the bleeder simply sticks into one of the 3 holes and extends maybe an inch below the floor.
Re: Quality Control
My 320 was built in February of '21 and had the newer Glycol.manyman297 said:Anything older than mid 2021s runs the risk of the dreaded Alde corrosion. I’d rather deal with maybe some cheaper cabinetry or whatever vs corroding convectors.
Re: CSS is at the top of my (most recent) RV search
Here you go @Marceline. I took a few pics last fall. For scale, the table is 3 foot wide. It’s nice for shade and rain. You have to cinch it down and tie it to the lock handles when you close the hatch at night.

A Bit of Fun = = CheapRVliving TAB320S
CheapRVliving rarely has TAB or TAB like trailer stories as it focuses more on DIY Van Conversions, etc.
This story is fun to watch as TAB Owner is very new to the TAB Family and does a nice job of mixing his TAB Features with past tent camping 'camp site' living.

Side Note:
In video Owner comments "Social Security doesn't cut-it" . . . .
Far too many people don't realize that Social Security was created and designed to provide/cover
around 40% of one's retirement living expenses. Individual retirement savings/pensions/etc
are critical to a less stressful [financial] retirement.

3D Printing Mods
Hi Everyone,
I just got my Tab 320S back in April this year. As a tinkerer, I enjoy finding ways to improve functionality with the camper. 3D printing is a great way to fabricate custom pieces, so I thought I would start a thread to post solutions as they are built. I only have 2 pieces in use so far, but there are some additional ideas in mind I plan on making. If you have ideas or sketches, I enjoy the challenge so feel free to offer them up here!
If you find any of these useful and have a 3D printer or access to one, it is very easy to download the STL file, use a slicer, then print it. Hope this helps someone!
Spacer to prevent cabinet doors from hitting shower door and leaving marks - print in white and it is barely noticeable. One piece placed halfway between the 2 doors will catch both of them. Just attach with some double-stick tape.

Shower door hangers to hold pocket organizer. Barely visible from outside of door (white on white), much better fit (fine for traveling), and won't mark up the door like the metal hooks that it comes with from Amazon.

Re: Battery Not Holding Charge
I have a 2019 400 and replaced the OEM batteries in 2023 with lithium upon realizing that they no longer maintained a satisfactory charge. I purchased two Battle Born 100ah batteries in size GC2 so that they would be a direct replacement in size for the OEMs.
This, plus everything else that people have mentioned about solar and a WFCO upgrade tops it off. It totally converted the boondocking experience.

Re: Battery Not Holding Charge
You put in the new lithium battery. The ordinary WFCO converter in your trailer will charge it up to about 85 percent on shore power. For that last 15 percent of amp hours, you can:
Add solar with a compatible lithium capable solar controller. This will get you the best bang for your buck, especially if you like to camp without hookups. The newer trailers have installed solar, or have portable panels. A portable panel setup can easily be added to your trailer.
Or: install a separate lithium compatible charger inside the trailer that you can simply plug into any outlet and charge the battery. Many different options for this, also.
This link goes to a comment from an owner who went through this same process, and was nice enough to share lessons learned and mistakes that were made.
Last: is the "need" to change the converter to charge the lithium "properly". This is maybe the most expensive option, and will require some work to replace the converters. There are several options. So far, though, most owners would skip the converter swap and work on the solar or separate charger route.
Re: Awning needs poles. Anyone recognize this type awning?
Thank you for the suggestion. I will do that. Yours looks awesome!
