First trip of the season! Staying at Western Way RV Resort in SW Tucson AZ. Saguaro National Park just down the street.

My wife had to be at the Eugene airport at 4:30 am.  That was both too early and too late for me to make a 2 hour round-trip journey, so we parked in Long Term parking and spent the night. When it was time she got up, gave me a kiss goodbye, and walked into the airport.  I slept until I was ready to get up, grab a coffee and breakfast and head home.  We even had wildlife there... we saw a fox hunting the parking lot for scraps and other goodies!

What a difference a day makes. Crazy rain and wind last night. They said it would clear up today, but here we are. I’d like to take the canopy down before it gets destroyed, but afraid I’d just make it worse if the wind catches it half way through. Waves were crashing up around the picnic table earlier. Do T@B’s float?  :'(

Coon Creek at Kaw Lake in Oklahoma, COE campground. Great site and a good example of spinning a T&B to take advantage of the view. Only downside is a close neighbor with three unruly, noisy kids who thought it was fine to loudly drop F bombs and not quite down until after midnight. This along with many other parties like you’d see in a commercial RV Park. Guess I’m just getting old.  :(

Another COE in Oklahoma, Beaver Point. Quite the contrast from the last three days. We’re the only ones here, so that’s a different kind of scary, but a pleasant change. One night of peaceful dry camping before heading into Texas. Jean says cheers!

First time staying at a BLM. We’re in NM at Aguirre Spring. Spent last night at a HH vineyard a few hours away. The wine is still flowing. The views are incredible here. Looking forward to hiking tomorrow.

edit to add:
Enjoyed a quiet night last night (Friday) and hike today. Apparently this BLM is a hot spot for local day use. This afternoon open sites are being occupied for that purpose. Loud music, multiple cars. Hoping they leave early.

Overnight boondocking on BLM land at Parowan Gap near Cedar City and Parowan, Utah. Many ancient petroglyphs on the boulders and rock walls all around the area.

Hey @IndyParrothead, we were just at Valley of the Gods in Utah dispersed camping for a couple nights. The wind was brutal Sunday night, but what a impressive location!
