Along the McKenzie River in Oregon. Picture taken before the 3+ hours of rain and hail. Late season winter storms here, plenty of snow in the higher elevations.
East Fork campground of the Black River Forest in Wisconsin. One of our favorites and we will be here 5 nights dry camping. Having some coffee and listening to the birds, fish jumping and trains in the remote distance. Jodi spotted deer across the river but I missed seeing them.

@Romana I'll be there in July! Let's hope the rain settles down by then, even though it's a rain forest! Did you like the park? Is the cover on your Tundra waterproof?

We enjoyed our recent stay at campsite #7 in James River State Park, 7 miles north of Gladstone, VA..
All the sites are nice & roomy, with shade mostly. One highlight is the hike to the Tye River overlook, looking west towards the Blue Ridge Mtns..
The mountain laurel was in full bloom (19 May)..
We also scouted some trails along the river, looking for rapids on the river, and the possibility of a kayak trip and then biking back a couple of miles to retrieve our vehicle.
So, I came up with a short trip plan that I've anotated on a park map that I photographed on a sign near the park's canoe launch..
It worked out great, and taking the mountain bike back on trails to get our vehicle was shorter and less hilly than using roads. There was only one downhill section that was steep & rocky, so some fun & challenging mountain biking for this senior.
Got this shot of the launch site, with my wife next to our inflatable kayak.
And this was about 2.5 mi downstream next to the park's other boat launch, where I had locked my bike to the picnic table for the ride back to the car. We enjoyed the kayaking & only minor rapids. Kayak is already mostly deflated here, so by the time I got back, we just rolled her up & put her in the van. And Jane enjoyed the extra time in the shade by the river to read her book.
This was the welcoming party on the shore where we landed..
And one more shot back at camp, where we had some great weather in the 80's and 50's at night. We were inspired to book another trip in a few weeks to one of our favorite parks in SW VA at Grayson Highlands, so looking forward to that one.

Oh yeah, @Sharon_is_SAM ! Or so we thought.. We completed our goal last year of staying at all 23 on the State Parks list with RV camping. We even stayed at one that is not on the state parks list - on the KY-VA border ("Breaks Interstate Park" - great natural beauty) that is jointly owned & run by both states (separately funded from our state park system).
Except... Just after we finished going to all 23, they have now opened a new state park with camping, out to the east, near Gloucester, VA, called Machicomoco State Park. There are at least six or more now with native American names, including Kiptopeke, Chippokes, Occoneechee, Powhatan (another newer one), and Pocohontas here in Chesterfield County.
So, we're not done yet after all! We need to put Machicomoco on our list, although we've found that newly opened parks tend to be more limited in what they have to offer. It probably has water access though. So it will probably be a one-nighter, just to check it out.

The park was ok, kinda small and the noise from US101 a little annoying at times. Still a good place for day trips to HOH and Rialto beach.

It is a nice spot Tom, we plan to go back again next year. This year we are going south along the Calif. coast (still north of SanFeancisco, but south of us).

Here we are at Lost Valley Ski Area. It’s a Harvest Host in Maine. Second time here. There’s some nice hiking on the snowmobile trails. Food and entertainment in the lodge that includes a brewery.

Not shown portable table/sink hooked up to outside shower connection.
Today's rainy day setup at Greenfield State Park in NH. Jean cooks and I'm the bottle washer. We just added an long extension to the shower connection so that it will reach out to a campsite picnic table. First time using it. Very nice! Much better than doing dishes behind the trailer on our portable table. (add that I really like the collapsible sink)
edit to add last nights spooky campfire picture.

I initially was going the same way with the hose extension but Karen really likes the double sink setup for washing dishes. The sinks have cutting board covers but we mainly use it for dish washing. And if we have a water hookup I use a Y coupler for the trailer and the sink.
