@TabberJohn, how nice of you to notice! That's one of three fairly ancient plastic stepping stones from way back when the daughter was younger. When I decided to name the T@b L@dybug these came out of hiding in the garage. I've found them useful to mark the awning ropes, so they are decorative and functional! An icy fog at Chisos Basin Campground in Big Bend NP, Dec. 2016. Cold outside, but the Alde kept us toasty! Since then, we've been to St. George Island, FL, we've toured NM and AZ (highly recommend Chiricahua Nat'l Monument), and a return to the Great Smoky Mountains NP is coming up. But this is the campsite photo I like best.

Beautiful! Last time I was there was in the summer of 1986 (in a tent, there was a hail storm and I had a horrible cold, so I stayed behind from the rest of the group). Yes! We tent camped on our first trip to Big Bend and we also had a thunderstorm, a wind storm, you name it. Much better in the T@b!

Bear Brook State Park in Southern NH this weekend. Our friends' tent matched our T@B. Lovely campground on a pond where we canoed and splashed around in the water. I need to learn that leaving for a camping trip on a Friday afternoon will add at LEAST an hour to the driving time. This little park is just over an hour from our house, but took us almost 3 hours to get there! This was our second dry camping experience and we learned a lot--and then went home and bought many helpful things on Amazon for the next one.

Muskegon, Mi - P.J. Hoffmaster State Park. Third time out with the CS. Just got the tent. Very easy to set up (well, except for figuring out the corner Velcro floor maze) and we love the feel of more space and a front porch. Used the AC for a short time last night - very loud, thankfully it cooled down and we enjoyed the open windows and fan. Due to rain while we are here, so the tent purchase was timely. Just missed a vintage trailer show! Discovered what it was like towing west - 12.5 mpg!

Not the prettiest camp site, but was able to get 17.6mpg for the trip. And my kid made it to the top of the rock wall. KOA Ventura.
