3D Printing Mods
Hi Everyone,
I just got my Tab 320S back in April this year. As a tinkerer, I enjoy finding ways to improve functionality with the camper. 3D printing is a great way to fabricate custom pieces, so I thought I would start a thread to post solutions as they are built. I only have 2 pieces in use so far, but there are some additional ideas in mind I plan on making. If you have ideas or sketches, I enjoy the challenge so feel free to offer them up here!
If you find any of these useful and have a 3D printer or access to one, it is very easy to download the STL file, use a slicer, then print it. Hope this helps someone!
Spacer to prevent cabinet doors from hitting shower door and leaving marks - print in white and it is barely noticeable. One piece placed halfway between the 2 doors will catch both of them. Just attach with some double-stick tape.

Shower door hangers to hold pocket organizer. Barely visible from outside of door (white on white), much better fit (fine for traveling), and won't mark up the door like the metal hooks that it comes with from Amazon.

Re: Battery Not Holding Charge
I have a 2019 400 and replaced the OEM batteries in 2023 with lithium upon realizing that they no longer maintained a satisfactory charge. I purchased two Battle Born 100ah batteries in size GC2 so that they would be a direct replacement in size for the OEMs.
This, plus everything else that people have mentioned about solar and a WFCO upgrade tops it off. It totally converted the boondocking experience.

Re: Battery Not Holding Charge
You put in the new lithium battery. The ordinary WFCO converter in your trailer will charge it up to about 85 percent on shore power. For that last 15 percent of amp hours, you can:
Add solar with a compatible lithium capable solar controller. This will get you the best bang for your buck, especially if you like to camp without hookups. The newer trailers have installed solar, or have portable panels. A portable panel setup can easily be added to your trailer.
Or: install a separate lithium compatible charger inside the trailer that you can simply plug into any outlet and charge the battery. Many different options for this, also.
This link goes to a comment from an owner who went through this same process, and was nice enough to share lessons learned and mistakes that were made.
Last: is the "need" to change the converter to charge the lithium "properly". This is maybe the most expensive option, and will require some work to replace the converters. There are several options. So far, though, most owners would skip the converter swap and work on the solar or separate charger route.
Re: Awning needs poles. Anyone recognize this type awning?
Thank you for the suggestion. I will do that. Yours looks awesome!
Re: T@B 400 Alde corrosion
The bleeder valve itself is not too hard. Are you talking about the "little black hose" that drops into the "plug" on the floor of the Alde compartment? Those hoses mostly just "push" in to the holes in the plug.
Re: T@B 400 Alde corrosion
So on our 2019 that has the 3020 and the Flow unit there are two pumps as described. When I did my flush I was puzzled until I realized that the rear most pump going to the Flow unit does not run unless the control panel calls for max hot water, and then only for 30 minutes. During this time the main pump (near the boiler) stops running, even if set to CONT. All other times the main pump is all that runs when it calls for heat or hot water.Bill&Suze said:Sharon_is_SAM said:Not sure which pump is for the main Alde and which for the flow, but I think the 400 setting is typically set at 2-3. Can any 400 owner confirm?
I just tried to get good photos of the two pumps on our 2024 400 but I'll admit that it is difficult to do, given the tight constraints of all the plumbing down there. No way that I could actually get eyes on them. The rear pump at the Flow appears to be set at 4 and the front at 2.
I believe that normal operation both should be 2-3 setting. That works for mine. If the pump is set higher than 4 it causes a lot of churning which I believe could increase pressure and cause the overflow to happen.
Re: T@B 400 Alde corrosion
@barbarella20722, just saw your post...out of an abundance of caution I replaced mine when I rebuilt my system...so far no runs drips or errors.

Re: T@B 400 Alde corrosion
Thanks, I did not notice the bucket before! How much is in it? You mentioned one pump turned up high. The glycol can escape from the tank from that tube that comes from the top of the tank. It drains, along with the air bleed valve drain, from that "plug" in the Alde compartment floor. The expansion tank tube is clear, and it will be easy to tell if there is glycol in it.
