Camping for a few days at Mt. Greylock Campsite Park in Lanesborough, MA. Before we even got to our assigned site, saw a Tab 400 (picture of my wife and I in front of Mark and Karen’s 400). So excited that we missed the turn for our site and had to go around again, only to find out we were next to a Tag (picture of Jim’s Tag). Picture of our setup.

At Powhattan State Park, Va, on the James River. We made good use of our A/C on this 90° day. It was our first time carrying our 2 bikes on the hitch-mounted bike rack, and all was fine, despite the slightly limited turning angle.
And took a ride down to the river where they had this launching ramp for canoes & kayaks.

Wonderful weekend camping with gal friends. It was cold, wet and snowing at higher elevations around town. I was warm and cozy in my Tab! I did feel cold air coming through the AC and remembered last night that I have a cover for it now thanks to @Pika1. Now to remember that before it’s dark and cold! Toadstool Geological Park, Nebraska.
Dry camping at a quiet 6-site National Grassland campground on the way farther north. We stayed our for a gorgeous sunset and stargazing and got up at sunrise for an early hike with soft light. A great start to our 2-week fall trip.

Custer State Park, South Dakota
Stockade Lake South Campground site 20E. Electric site with water available.
The state park is National Park quality and the campground an ideal spot to take off from for the day to surrounding areas: Beautiful lakes, towering rock spires, peaceful hikes, scenic byways and historic tunnels, wildlife concentrations, Mt. Rushmore and more. Take Iron Mountain road / Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway counter-clockwise to Mt Rushmore... what a treat!

Buffalo, Wyoming
We had planned on staying at Mountain View Motel & Campground but I want to confirm for you all right now that nobody should ever stay there. For any reason. Ever. Once look and we quickly moved on to Deer Park Campground, which is a very nice full service facility. The mountain campgrounds had closed a week prior and the boondock areas were iffy with weather coming in. Buffalo is a cute little town. We did a number of hikes in the Bighorn Mountains and at the historic Occidental Hotel got a drink and were treated to live bluegrass music.

Second leg of our trip was Holliday Lake State Park, near Appomattox (where the civil war ended) in the Appomattox-Buckingham State Forest.

Can you find a T@B here? We had the whole place to ourselves, except for one other camper in another section.
There wasn't a single level spot that wouldn't have required some L/R leveling. Since it was hilly & weren't riding bikes here, we stayed hitched up, since it was fairly level front-to-back.
We enjoyed our spot though, on the outside of a turn surrounded by woods.
And there were some vey nice hiking trails around the lake..
..which led to some pretty overlooks..
This was our favorite place with pretty trees lit by the morning sun, and even a little hint of fall color.

We stopped by the picnic area before leaving.
And had a relaxing lunch by the lake. The bikes were still doing well on the new clamp-on hitch rack.
On the final leg of our tour of three more state parks that we hadn't been to yet, we stayed at Twin Lakes campground in the Price Edward-Gallion State Forest, south of Farmville, near Green Bay, VA..
We appreciated having a nice shady spot on another 90-degree day, with mid-70's at night & sleeping with the A/C on.
More from Twin Lakes..

This was our 16th Virginia State Park where we've stayed since getting our T@B about 2 years ago, so 7 more left, and we hear there will be two more parks eventually that are still under development.

@Sharon_is_SAM and @DougH re: Mountain View Motel & Campground in Buffalo WY : In retrospect I should have taken a photo of but we left quickly as fulltimers noticed us pull up and stood outside waiting for the show, so here it is on streetview. The site we were offered was a narrow gravel pad in full sun on the street across from a parking lot and between 2 fulltimers who between them maybe had half a set of teeth and were both ready to spend the afternoon with us. The bathroom was a sketchy walk between the fulltimers, behind some cabins that have seen better days, to a dark hole in a small cinderblock shed that led me to question if I really did want that first shower in 5 days after all. It was just not the kind of recreational experience tabbers want and wanted to save any of my friends here from being stranded with no other options. The reviews of this place on sites I saw ahead of time were good but I think reflect the cabins more than the campsites. Afterward we dug a little deeper and found reviews more reflective of the actual experience here . Go ahead and stay at Deer Park Campground instead.

Indian Campground in Buffalo, WY was a good campground this summer. Good reviews, too. Quiet, even though it was close to the interstate. Be sure to visit Crazy Woman Liquors in Buffalo, if for nothing else than a photo op😉 Verna, Columbus, IN
