Agreed! I always fill my tank, then run each device to purge all of the air, then top it off...as you mentioned. I also drain the gray water tank just before I leave...as it's only clean purge water.
@Sharon_is_SAM. Thank you...I will look into a smart charger. I wonder if, by unplugging everything, I ended up resetting the BMV...and thats why it jumped from 95 to 100% when I reconnected? Still not sure how it got corrupted. I have been charging with shore power and two solar controllers for over two years and this is the first time I've had any issues. Thanks again!
The one I linked to above shows the size (2.76") and matches the ones used on my 2021 tub. You will need to measure the length of yours as there could have been different suppliers. The 2.76 is the critical length.
There is also this 30 page, 6 year in the making discussion thread that has many examples of how other owners have performed this task. This link goes to the last page, and if you page backward you can see the pictures of how it is done. If you start at the front (six years ago!) you can learn more about the Alde and how it works than you can imagine. There are so many smart owners here.
Thank you pthomas745. Your explanation is very helpful. So much more water did come out when I drained the cold water low point drain than I expected. I did open the cold water faucet when doing the cold water drain and the hot water faucet when doing the hot water drain. Did not get the trailer nose up but will remember that for the future.
SUCCESS. It was the Alde by pass valve that I had open. We are boondocking on BLM land near Capitol Reef National Park and did two Navy-style showers back-to-back tonight. Thanks to this community!!! I relied on a faulty memory and will consult my cheat sheets from now on.
LiFePO4 batteries do not need to be vented and most can be mounted in any position. I changed mine over and moved them inside under the passenger bench in my 2021 320S. There are no vents.
