In the "Anyone Carry A Spare Battery Thread, there are several ways to attach an "Extra Battery" to the trailer. (The Ecoflow is a very impressive device but it is...a spare battery.) You can attach the Ecoflow to the 7 pin plug on the trailer with a simple modification. I have attached a "spare battery" to the trailer by wiring a battery directly to a 12V port. (A 12V port is a 2 way device: they can draw power or send power to the battery. Another owner simply connected a Bluetti directly into the 12V system.
Here is the "spare battery" thread, with pictures of various "extra battery" setups. The 7 pin plug adapters are discussed, and the Bluetti attached directly into the trailer is on page 2.

I think i was switching things on and off when we woke up and electrics were all out, but we have fixed it!

The "diagonal" position, according to the Nautilus manual, is to just blow out the "harness" on the Nautilus, and not the entire plumbing setup: This is from the 3.0 manual: Using "CITY WATER" inlet or low point drain, blow out plumbing lines (40 PSI max) with handles still at 45 degree angle as shown. This will ensure any trapped water in plumbing harness is removed. (Italics added).
PS: not sure if you have the Nautilus 2.5 or 3.0 in your 400, but the idea is the same.
If you want to blow out the lines all the way to the faucets, you would set the valves to the "Winterize" position. That would send air to each faucet, just like it would send antifreeze to each faucet.
The basic instructions we have in many threads points this out: 45 degrees for the "harness", and "Winterize" position for blowing out or filling up all the way to the faucets.

@Tross2023 - glad it was something simple. It sounds like you may have towed with the battery switch off. Good time to review for readers that you must always tow with the battery switch turned on. The break away brake switch relies on the TaB battery to apply the brakes in case of a complete detachment.

I used the large aluminum washers at the bolt head and at the distal end with the nut. In my case, that fasteners are hex nuts with the head in the box and bolt through the platform. No reason you couldn't do it the other way 'round, but you would then have the nut and bolt excess in the box taking up space and perhaps damaging whatever you put in the box.Barrett252 said:Do the carriage bolts come up through from underneath the platform with the washer below the platform or does the carriage bolt go down and then you put the big washer on and nut underneath? Re: How to drain some of the Alde Fluid.
There’s a low point drain under the trailer. On the 400 it’s basically right below where the Alde is. You simply remove the plug and it will drain. Be aware that getting the plug back into the tube could be tough once the glycol is flowing.
An alternative would be to remove it from the reservoir but then you’d introduce air into the lines which takes some effort to remove depending on your year/model.

@MuttonChops. Thanks - I will try again tomorrow using the external cold tap rather than the low point drain. Stay tuned.

@SLJ- Thank you for the additional information. That helped a lot! We got our hatch installed. My husband used a coping saw to cut the hole because we didn't want to buy a hole saw for that one job. We're very happy with how it turned out! I found flexible plastic mirrors at Joann Fabrics that had an adhesive backing, so we put that in there, too.

We have a 2022 Outback (rated at 3,500 towing max). It has worked fine towing our 2014 TAB (which weighs 1,940 empty).
