Re: t@b 400 BD Axle Replacement
My son and I replaced the axle on our 2019 t@b 400 bdl in about 90-mins (faster had I helped but I didn't want to 
). Gear was a Harbor Freight Trolley Jack, two jack stands, Dewalt 1/2" drill with sockets and Dewalt Impact Wrench. What took the longest was removing the rear and side screws holding the under carriage skirt on. We didn't remove it completely, just the back and screws down each side to just in front of the tires. Once on jack stands, we used the trolley jack to hold the axle while we removed the bolts then reversed the process. Seriously, 90-mins and most of that was walking back and forth to the shed for tools. Of course we had a few beers, did some joking, and got distracted a few times.

I wanted the camera mounted higher than the license plate. I use the camera asa rear view camera as well as a backup camera.

I’m in my eighth year with my 320S and still absolutely love my Alde! I have had one part fail two years ago. It was a blown fuse on the circuit board. I never go to my RV dealer for anything Alde, but contact the nearest Airstream dealership. They use Alde in their higher end models and know the system! Not all Airstream dealers will work on another manufacturer trailer but a quick call to their service department will let you know.

Re: TAB400 freshwater tank repair
It’s a 2021 tab 400 boondock. Fresh water tank isn’t designed to hold any pressure there is an overflow that vents to atmosphere. This was clogged by a mud wasp in my case. Insurance classified it as animal damage and covered it…Tank didn’t burst only changed shape and took the frame of the trailer with it. This should be engineered with a weak point that breaks before the expensive parts break.

"Yep, that will be fine as you are just adding a second battery for capacity - the voltage will not change.
So you will want to make sure to wire the new battery in parallel - this will keep the same voltage (12V), but double the amp hour capacity.
You are essentially just adding more battery amp hour capacity, and not changing the flow / voltage that comes from the battery/ies."
The wire gauge you use will depend on how you wire the batteries.1/0 for the combined current path is a bit of overkill; 2ga would be fine (Heck though the likelyhood you would be sourcing enough sustained current to have a problematic voltage drop or enough heat in even 4ga wires is hard to imagine). You would not have to change the fuse or the wiring to the inverter. The fuse is sized to protect the inverter and is independent of the capacity of the power source. The GLOSO breaker is sized to protect the wiring (and is quite conservative). I am open to commentary.
