@Marceline, thanks for the suggestion to also submit a report to NHTSA, which I did this afternoon. I had previously considered contacting them, but assumed it was not within their jurisdiction. However, I researched it today and found that they do investigate bike carrier safety issues.

The Ohio/ Pennsylvania Tab group were camping at Keystone state park last weekend. There were 21 Tabs in our loop and a couple in the no dogs loop. We had about 40 at the pot luck supper.

Here’s a funny out the door shot. Slept with windows open and woke up this morning to a poopy smell. Thought that there was something going on with our black tank. Opened the door to find this. The owners of the Harvest Host lets his dogs out in the morning and was very apologetic. We’re dog people and had a good laugh over it.

@tabiphile I picture it like jumping off a wall with either knees locked or knees bent. Knees locked will send more shock through your body. With knees bent some of the shock will be absorbed by your muscles and tendons. With a lighter duty tow vehicle, the suspension will absorb more of the impact than the stiffer suspension of a one ton.

With only a single 100ah battery and a 1200w inverter it's not meant to power a ton of things. However, you could rewire other outlets to also work with the inverter. The outlet by the television is close enough to the kitchen countertop that you could run small appliances off that outlet if needed.BillCB said:Thanks for responding.
