I also drilled a finger hole in the panel to make it easier to lift.

With only a single 100ah battery and a 1200w inverter it's not meant to power a ton of things. However, you could rewire other outlets to also work with the inverter. The outlet by the television is close enough to the kitchen countertop that you could run small appliances off that outlet if needed.BillCB said:Thanks for responding. Problem solved - I hadn't seen the (tiny!) with in the bedside cubby. Shame it only powers that one outlet and the TV.
