This is one of the most hilarious spin attempts ever. Nothing disconnects inside the battery, the nut and bolt merely lose clamping force when the plastic melts. Which makes the problem worse.

Yes, but my 400 floor is 3/8" plywood, foam, then the black material exposed to the underbelly. Norcold 4104 3-way freezer works but not fridge (Tab 400)
The 3 way in our 2021 Tab 400 has been acting funny. It has slowly gone from not cooling well (in fridge section) to not cooling at all. Same on AC or propane. Freezer however is perfectly fine. I checked the thermistor in the fridge and it's reading fine - around 9kohms in 75 degree ambient, and drops when I hold it between my fingers. I tried moving it to another fin in the fridge and there was no effect. What DID seem to help was removing the thermistor from the fins entirely and laying it while connected on the shelf in the fridge (if I disconnect entirely I get an error 13). With that approach, it cooled the fridge overnight. I then went back and tried another position on the fins and it went back to misbehaving. Anyone had a similar issue? We are on a weekend trip tomorrow and if I can cool the fridge with the thermistor lying on the shelf in the next few hours I'll go with that, otherwise I have an ice block in the freezer to use the fridge as a rudimentary cooler though that might backfire if the fridge thinks it's already cold and doesn't even cool the freezer at that point. Help!

Re: 2020 Tab 400 Lithium Battery Upgrade
I plan on installing either a 230ah or 320ah battery with a separate charger located near the battery with the 120v cord accessed from the outdoor cubby. When on shore power I will turn off the battery switch and plug the charger into the exterior receptacle located near the door. Shore power powers up everything and will charge the battery with the correct charger.
Favorite Gas Station Stops
I am often given recommendations by folks about places to stop along travels to our different destinations. Buc-ees is obviously a big one as I am in Texas. I know Wawa has a pretty big following out east. For anyone traveling up through the Idabel Oklahoma I highly recommend Gasquatch. This is one of our favorite landmarks on travel up to Beavers Bend. Would love to hear about and see pictures of other great stops.

Re: Honda Ridgeline Tow Vehicle - Monitoring Transmission Temperature
We used our 2021 Ridgeline to pull our TAB 400 through the East coast mountains this fall. From upstate NY, through the Delaware Water Gap, Shenandoah Mountains, Blue Ridge Mountains, and Smokey Mountains. We did not have any problems. We used the scan gauge to monitor the transmission temperature and the temperature never got above 195°. So far so good!
This spring we’re headed to the southwest (NM, AZ, UT, CO).
We are changing the transmission fluid religiously at 30,000 miles as recommended by Honda when towing. We also use high octane gas in the mountains as we’ve heard it helps when towing at altitude. Less guesswork for the computer?
We do hear a rattle from time to time when accelerating- sounds to me like marbles. It happens when not towing and also (perhaps more often) when towing. It’s intermittent and the dealer hasn’t been able to identify the source. Very perplexing.
