The inverter runs off the battery. It converts 12v dc to 120v ac. Get your battery fully charged and then see what you get from the inverter. I wouldn't think depleting the battery would harm the inverter. Depending on your battery, fully depleting it may have damaged the battery. The good news is that the battery won't be destroyed--you will just get less life out of it.

@Kamate I've overloaded an inverter once, and it never quite came back and had to be replaced. Fingers crossed yours stays okay. For quickly warming up the T@B, you can crack a side window and just run a burner on the stove for a few minutes. The Mr. Heater Little Buddy catalytic heater can also be used, again with a side window cracked for extra ventilation safety.

@Kamate: I get that we want it all, but we sometimes have to work within the realm of what we actually have. For me...? I just layer up while the Alde kicks in. I have a 320, so yes, smaller, but it takes about 30 minutes to start bringing the trailer up to temp...have fun with the new toy!;)
First Camp
Our first camping trip was March 1-3 at Arches National Park. Sunny days with cold nights (max temp 50 degrees F/min low 20 degrees F). Camper still winterized of course. The park was not as busy as we expected but that will change in the coming weeks. FYI - All campsites in the park require reservations through November.

Wife and I got our second shot yesterday at the new FEMA run site in Tampa that opened yesterday. We went at two different times ( I was working when she went) and they took walk-ins. Very efficient, mostly staffed by military medical personnel. Young lady that checked me in was Air Force. Not sure if they were all from MacDill in Tampa or if they were brought in from different bases.

My installation of the EMS-LCHW30 in a 2018 CS-S
I installed the Progressive Industries EMS-LCHW30 in my 2018 clamshell today. It was quite easy. All you need to do is strip some wires (careful not to nick conductors), and turn some screws. I was pleased that I didn't have to put in any extra wire. I cut the existing orange wire from the exterior power plug to the converter and there was just enough slack in the wire to do the install. My choice of mounting location was key to making this possible. See photos. The unit is screwed in with only three screws, but that's plenty. The screw on the right side goes into a super thin fascia, so I used a drywall anchor, which seems secure enough. Hope this helps someone.

That switch is to turn the AIMS brand of inverter on and off. An inverter converts 12v DC power to 120v AC power the same as you have in your household outlets. It only powers the single outlet near the switch. The factory AIMS inverter is 1200w so fairly low 10 amps of AC power available. You can only power small devices and for limited time as it will put a heavy drain on the batteries. Leave that switch OFF all the time unless using the outlet as the inverter uses power even in idle state and will drain your batteries dead in a fairly short time.
Edit to further comment on beeps, etc. I am not sure what all issues you were seeing, but if I had to guess symptoms of a low battery, possibly due to inverter being left on?
Turn inverter off and see if battery charges and symptoms go away.

@gbell - hopefully they thoroughly flushed the Alde with distilled water before just adding the Rhoguard.

This thing works GREAT! Hightly recommend it. Put the brass end in the water and shake it a few times. Syphon action starts on its own.
