12V split AC unit mounted on rear 320 rack?
I dream of this, either as a wildly ambitious mod, or as the next generation of NuCamp innovation.
The industry is moving toward being able to 12V power air-conditioning, and NuCamp can adapt that technology to their trailers.
Problem 1: the AC is too noisy- I'd rather swelter!
The split unit allows you to put the most noise outside...
Problem 2: they are either space hogs inside or ugly bumps on the roof top!
The split unit could be mounted on a boondock- like rear rack, that would actually give a here-to-fore silly decorative item a reason for being. I'm sure that NuCamp could reinforce the rack- area roof framing to carry the relatively small load of a spare tire and a 12V AC unit if necessary. This could actually look good!
Problem 3: heat
... could possibly be a heat pump unit. As battery bank/ solar panel sizes increase the days of propane heat are numbered.
Wanna build a full size mockup? I'll volunteer my 320. Setting gps for Ohio now.

My T@B was lit up at night as almost nothing was completely off. I ran everything to this switch panel I added next to the Jensen in my '21 320. Now nothing glows at night. (L to R): Outside USB ports (I added), Inside USB ports, Jensen Stereo, TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player. If you're using a mobile phone or other portable device, you won't see the whole URL that includes the model year and that may be your issue and frustration. Thank you Sharon is SAM and Binghi! I made what is likely a typical noob assumption that the pump is needed to move water through the water lines, no matter whether the source is the fresh water tank or city water. Having disconnected city water and set the Nautilus to dry camping mode, I find that the pump works perfectly as it should. I'm set for the moment until I encounter the next noob situation.

Mine are soft as well. The 2020 would have Azdel floors (I think), so it's not as hard and solid as wood. I was told it was normal. But IDK.

I'm with you on the suspension, rubber torsion axles are probably the worst for going down rough roads. The Dexter specs list a whopping 1.5" of up travel for an axle at load capacity. One of the hurdles when replacing the axle is that the tube serves as a cross member so you can't just remove it. Either build a replacement cross member or pull the swing arms out of the tube. Leaf springs aren't necessarily bad if they are designed for a good ride (long mono leafs or similar) but the typical trailer leaf springs aren't gonna cut it. I've been toying with the idea of coil overs which are pretty compact but do need a way of locating the axle with trailing arms or similar. Maybe next winter I'll brush up on my non-existing welding skills ....

Leaf springs would be my last choice. I’m surprised it was that bouncy. After having owned a tent trailer with leaf springs towing the 400 is a dream. The more overland-ready campers use coil springs and shocks but I have no idea if that could even be retrofitted.

I like the storage mod. I did something similar for our 23' Tab 400. Removed the bunk bed and replaced it with a storage area.
