Jacking up a TAB 400 BD
There are quite a few posts that discuss bottle jacks and floor jacks on trailers. As I poke around auto supply stores' websites I note the negative reviews of these devices - mostly products that fail after very few uses. What I haven't yet found are reasons why scissor jacks aren't used. They are mechanically simpler that bottle or floor jacks; as long as they can handle the weight they should be fine. About the only mechanical difference I've seen is that the contact surface of scissor jacks is flat (or notched) and bottle & floor jacks might be "bumpy".
My question, then, is there any reason not to use the scissor jack that came with our TV, a 2020 Toyota Highlander?

Re: Leak from Nautilus box and outdoor shower box while driving T@B 320S in heavy rain.
After making the following three changes that all caused leaks, we have not seen any leaks caused by driving in the rain over the last two seasons:
- Foam plug in Nautilus port, plus making inside of Nautilus water-tight from trailer interior as much as possible.
- Adding a larger foam weather seal strip under the door that fits snug with the door frame floor when closed.
- Removing the outside shower plumbing entirely and sealing off the housing's interior with foam so it's water-tight from trailer interior.
Re: Access to equipment compartment under the bed
Initially, I just jammed the sawed-off corner of the platform into the roof upholstery, as you see in the photo from the initial post. After my wife complained about that, I fashioned a strut from a strip of wood left over from the project. That is what you see in this photo. I lucked out on a place to store the strut - it fits in the gap between the back edge of the hinged platform and the wall of the trailer.

Access to equipment compartment under the bed
Finally pulled a thorn out of my paw. Installed hinges on the driver-side bed platform in my 2021 400 BD so I have much easier access to the equipment compartment containing the backside of the Nautilus, the water pump, and the Alde equipment, including the famous yellow pressure relief valves.

Re: Tab 400 replacement stargazer window shade?
You will need to order a new one from a Nucamp dealer. It will be the entire window shade unit. Pretty easy to install with two people. Just four screws - one at each corner under the plastic corner covers that pop off.
Re: Converting CSS Dresser to Bench?
2017 was the last model year for the bench. Funny, we had our 2017 customized with a counter and cabinets because we recognized the lack of utility of the bench. Instead of eliminating the front storage area, think about using a tent and sitting outside. The only time we sit inside is if it is very cold and we break down the bed.
Re: Black streaks under outside light
@Da_Birds. There was a lengthy discussion about this that I saw a few months ago. A lot of people had some very good input. I believe it is at the link below:

LiTime Battery Sale at Amazon
Not affiliated in any way but have been tracking prices as I have put a couple of these in our camper recently.
It appears they’re having a really good sale on Amazon right now. I haven’t seen prices this low yet on these. Make sure to apply the 10% code too. Just search “litime battery”.

Re: Radiant barrier on windows keeps T@B temps down in summer.
We took the advice learned here and got rid of our silver sun blockers and replaced with white vinyl sheets velcroed to the window frame with plenty of air flow. It keeps the heat way down while on route, so the fridge can stay cool and without draining the battery too much.
