Re: Ohio Weather lately
@jkjenn, at evening gatherings or a bonfire, most of us have tried to space the thermo cells every other or every second chair. Last year, when we had a gathering under a canopy across the street, many of us put thermocells on the ground under the seating tables and it was quite effective. If it is too breezy for the thermocells to be effective, it is too breezy for many mosquitoes to be be successfully active, but there still are some on target.
Re: Can you take a shower while boondocking?
Gaia, one of the first things I did when we got our Tab, was see how long a shower I could get away with.
I timed it at @ 5 minutes, and we only have a 5 gallon fresh water tank.
It was a fairly 'luxurious' shower, on continuously.
Not too bad.

Re: Subaru Outback and Tab320 S
The 2020 Subaru Outback added a turbo charged engine. It also upped the tow specifications, 3500-pound towing capacity

Re: Unable to post PDF’s with Apple Handheld Devices
Folks,
FWIW I don't this is a Vanilla issue. We tried to upload pdfs on other sites like one for insurance from my wife's iPad and could not. I went to the Apple store and they didn't have an answer which is unusual.

Re: Ohio Weather lately
To those who haven't been to Winklepleck before, the campground sits in a small geographic "bowl". It is not excessively low, but repeated rains can keep some areas soggy. The upside is that most of the strongest winds blow over the tops of the trailers because the "bowl" protects from the winds. Those of you across the street in the boondock area are a few feet higher and a bit more exposed. Winklepleck is adjacent to a golf course and a several acre pond. Bug protection is high priority, especially for evening activities. ÜCamp17 was wet, warm and very humid. Bugs believed I was the other white meat. Our outdoor rug was floating or water squished up through it when stepped on that year and it did rain 4 out of the 7 days we were there, but not steadily.
Much love sent to everyone there. We'll be reading every post and enjoying every picture and living vicariously through all of you. Enjoy! -Denise

Re: Water pump filter cleaning.
If you look inside the door behind the toilet, on the inlet (left) side of the pump you should see a little cup with a clear plastic cap. If you unscrew that cap there is a little steel mesh screen inside the cup that can slide out and be rinsed off. You may need to rotate the cup a little bit to facilitate access.
The mesh keeps large chunks from being drawn into the pump. Sometimes those chunks include plastic shavings left from the manufacturing process--that's probably why nuCamp recommends an initial check after 90 days. In no way would I assume your dealer would have done this.
Re: Converter won't stop running
The converter is always 'running' when connected to shore power. What you hear is the cooling fan running and it will run as long as the internal temperature is above a certain level. This is influenced by the current load including battery charging and any other loads like the refrigerator, lights, TV, etc as well as the external temperature. Despite having your battery fully charged your battery may have been discharging while you were driving if your refrigerator was on. Check to see if your tow vehicle has the 'charge line' connected. This will keep your battery topped up while driving.
