Re: Must Inspect List for Used Tab
We bought a one year used T@B 400 now 4 years ago. We love it. I have since learned a lot on the forum about the issues that arise.
So if I were to do it today:
1. Document that Alde inspection and service have been done, with evidence that corrosion is not present.
2. Ensure wheel bearing and brake inspection and service have been done, not just EZ lube. Check emergency brake pin for function.
3. Avoid the Air8 which is undersized for hot and humid conditions. Look for a CoolCat AC and make sure it works properly and drains.
4. Document battery care has been done. First owners often kill their batteries. A resting voltage after charging and load test will determine if the battery is in good shape.
5. Check water pump, plumbing and hot water functions. Look for leaks, particularly around outdoor shower, which is a design that can leak behind the wall. Ensure low point drains operate. Pressurize with city water at proper psi and check as well.
6. Check toilet function, black tank and grey tank dump valves.
7. Check for proper drainage of bath sink. Another design issue depending on model year
8. Check that tank sensors are functioning properly
9. Check all electrical circuits breakers and fuses and the converter. Also inverter if equipped. Same for solar.
10. Check stove and propane systems. Check fans.
11. Check door and all windows and shades for proper functioning.
12. Check for caulk age and cracks around round windows and at other joint areas on camper. Get underneath and check Coroplast cover.
Thanks for the question as I now have my own check list for this year!
Others will doubtless add more good ideas.
Good luck.

Re: green blinking light under sink behind plastic in T@B 400 (2023)
Great sleuthing @dfsdogs on the light. VictronConnect is blinking blue. Located behind the drawer under the fridge. Through plastic frame in bathroom the controller light appears as green. I’ve haven’t learned much about the solar controller but you nailed it, thanks!
Re: Are there new jacking points for the 2024 400s?
This is what finally NuCamp came back with last night. "There
is no longer an L bracket or plate for this, you will want to place
your jack on the chassis behind the wheel, not in front of.” So, the idea of not "using a jack on the axle" still holds.

I had to flip their photo to get this perspective. The axle is towards the middle bottom, in line with the hand. (It has the white label). The white circle is the area on the trailer "chassis behind the wheel".
This is the original photo if it helps clear this up.

The Tredit representative explained that Trailer Set Go is a "sister" organization of Tredit. Hope this will save someone some money. :-)

Re: Need Advise Pulling T@B 400 BD with 24 KIA Telluride.
2024 T@b 400. Tow with 2022 Nissan Pathfinder. Use a Andersen Weight Distribution Hitch (WDH) with also acts as anti-sway. I find it bounces a lot less with the weight distribution hitch and feels very stable at 65 mph. I don't feel too much push from passing semis.
You will find varying opinions on this forum about the use of a WDH with a T@b 400. Also, check your vehicle recommendations. My vehicle is not self-leveling and it sagged in the back more than I'd like with the tongue weight of the T@b. I installed it myself. I'm very happy with how it handles.

Re: Are there new jacking points for the 2024 400s?
From the 2024 400 Manual: “Place the jack on the chassis directly behind the wheel. Lift the trailer, being very
careful that the jack does not slip off.”
Re: Issue with 2021 T@B 320s Boondock AC
Hello pthomas745,
I did look today and you were correct! It is blue fluid. I just ordered a gallon of the Alde Truma Glycol per your link. Instructions state that I am to fill between the min and max line while cold. Once I do that, I'll power up the Alde!! Thanks again....

Re: T@B 400 Alde corrosion
PS dinette access:

Started with a hole saw towards the front. Used the oscillating tool to cut the rest out. I put a board behind to protect the wall and wires.

I used bolts, washers and nuts tightened down to create mounting posts that can go through the new plywood access panel.

Drilled holes to run the bolts through. Washer and nut on the bolts, then tighten down. Positioned the board/cover and screwed it in. I also drilled two 1" finger holes. In the future, I can loosen the bolts/washers and unscrew the board to gain access to the convector without taking down the large panels that frame the window.
