Little Giant Steps for your Tab 320
I posted some questions a few months ago about what folks were using for steps into their 320s--- as an alternative to the single step on the camper. Others may use these already, but I thought I'd share what I ended up with. Aside from being just a touch narrow (compared to the built-in step), the Little Giant Safety Step step ladder is a perfect fit for giving you two steps up to your 320 (not sure about the 400). And, as opposed to having a uni-tasker for steps, these also work great for stepping up on your truck-- or to reach things higher up on your camper. There's a back rail that flips up for leaning when you need it-- and it folds down nicely when used as steps. I thought I might have to remove that rail for it to fit close enough (because of the 320's step), but it works great as is. They are a little pricey, but worth it.
Hepvo Valve Alternative
I was not convinced that a hepvo valve was the best way to go to gain space under the sink of our 320S. The idea of a mechanical valve that could get clogged or otherwise fail didn't seem like a good alternative to a proven and simple trap. What I did was rotate the trap to the back and add an elbow to make the space in the cabinet more usable. Working good so far.

Hopefully someone can chime in with instructions on how to turn the inverter side of your Multiplus off. It may be as simple as toggling it off in that VE.Bus screen. I usually hit my head once at the beginning of each year's first trip. That's all it takes to knock some sense into my brain. Unfortunately, my short term memory is programmed for one year max.

At 13.12v, the SOC (state of charge) of a lithium battery is about 40%. So your Smart Shunt is giving you an incorrect SOC. If your SmartShunt was reading 60% at some point, then your battery was likely dead dead dead.Busted_11B said:Here is a screen shot of normal operation, instead of 95% it was 60% and instead of "Inverting" it said off and battery low or something like that but also show almost zero Amps.
In the settings for the Smart Shunt there is a default setting that synchronizes the SOC to 100% when the SmartShunt is powered up. I think that what's happening is that either NuCamp or the dealers are dropping partially charged batteries into the campers, and the SmartShunt is treating that as 100%.
AFAIK the only solution is to get your batteries back up to a real 100% charge (13.6v) by whatever means and then go into the SmartShunt settings and manually synchronize it to 100% only when you're sure that the batteries are fully charged. My understanding is that the inverter consumes a fair amount of power, so to accelerate the charging process I'd turn it off. If you're not able to connect to shore power, I'd turn off everything that consumes a lot of power (like the fridge) and get as much sun as possible on the solar panels.
