@Tabinator - The plan is that there will be a May breakfast Watch here as @Homebodyatheart will confirm middle of next week. Looking forward to meeting you!!!
I like the Alde too but I agree on the glycol and maintenance and issues that come with it. Honestly if I had my choice I would opt for a Truma combi comfort plus unit. If my Alde every corrodes out or just craps out someday I plan on see if I can retrofit it with a Truma unit.
LOL, sorry can't help you
I disconnected the outside shower . . . just wish I could have 'factory deleted it'
its more trouble/problems than its worth for my style of camping
Another good replacement option, would be a natural Latex foam, which does not break down over time like petroleum based foams do, which eventually break down into small bits. Also layering a firm foam base with a softer foam piece on top would I,prove the sitting and sleep comfort, adding better overall support. Cheers
@Denny16 Hmmm…that’s not how it was explained to me. The SmartSolar is the controller, not a shunt, and I was told the Watts displayed in the app reflect solar watts being provided to the battery…which if the battery is full, would be none. Digging around online to see what I can find about this, the rain here today isn’t conducive to solar testing.
Well, you’re not getting anything right now because your battery is full. 13.67v is a full charge. The state of Float also means the battery is at or very near max charge. The panel voltage at 19.48v means it’s definitely collecting energy, there just isn’t anywhere to put it.
In 2019 the bungee cords were replaced with two "pockets" and the round window became a vertical "slit' window. I agree with the (lack of) utility of the trash can. I have tried to think of something that could be stored there since it isn't going to cut it as a trash can. Unfortunately it is too deep to stow small things and too fragile to stow heavy things. In addition, that trash can can, and will, pop off of the clips holding it to the door with even a small bump. For trash I use a plastic Walmart bag hanging on a hook to the right of the door. Not all that convenient but better than the can on the door. In my professional opinion, and with vast experience, I have decided that Walmart bags are the best bags out there. Grocery store bags and other bags are too thin and tear easily. Since I also use them when scooping the cat's litter box, not tearing is important.
Im sure that inside plastic panel is a seperate part that can be switched out. Check with your dealer. By the way though, I have not found the trash bin to be usable. No way to really use a trash bag in it without it sticking out all around the top and the bag falling inside when putting trash in. I tried hard at first to use it but I think alot of people just ignore that and do something else for trash. Nice concept but not functional in my opinion.
Still awaiting delivery of our 2022 400bd so I can't speak directly about cleaning the acrylic windows on our camper. However, I did own motorcycles with acrylic fairings. I would recommend using a very soft cloth like an old cloth diaper, terrycloth or a microfiber towel. Be certain the surface of the window is clear of dust and the towel is clean. Wipe with less pressure. I used a product called S100 Special Surfaces Cleaner on my fairings and helmets. No scratches or fogging. This is what I intend to use when/if we get our camper. https://www.amazon.com/S100-Special-Surfaces-Cleaner-Spray/dp/B008R9A3A8
