Truly sad when someone innocent (a child in this case) loses their life due to the ignorance of the adult(s) that are supposed to be smart enough to protect them. If I were to guess, Walmart will pay this off just to make it disappear, but I am not an attorney nor do I pretend to be.

Unfortunately, this goes way beyond boondocking. It is time to unite our country, put aside our differences before it is too late. We are on a path as a country that is not good, I compare it to a runaway train and the curve is coming........

Don't try to lower it 3-4 inches by deflating tires. You'll destroy, or at least seriously shorten the life of your tire sidewalls.
Mattress alternative
While we've been happy with the comfort of the bed in our 2021 T@b 400 I found on our last long trip I was slightly less comfortable than in the past. As a side sleeper who's 6'2" and 195lbs we added a 2" memory foam topper and covered that with a fitted pillow topper to make it more comfortable for me. The two additions seem to be wearing out a bit causing the slight discomfort. A few years ago we purchased from REI an Exped MegaMat Duo in the long double wide size to use when camping in the back of our truck and for guests to sleep on the floor. We find it extremely comfortable. Today I decided to see how it would do in the 400. I pulled off the old memory foam and pillow topper and laid the mattress directly on top of the factory mattress which is still on the froli system. I fits remarkably well, even with the angled corner, with the dimensions being 76.6"x52"x3.9". And it is extremely comfortable on top of the factory mattress. I also like that I can easily pull it out and still use it for truck camping or in the house and I don't have to remove the factory mattress and store it anywhere. I also like the adjustability of it by adding or removing air to change the firmness of. Anyway I know some people have been looking for replacements or changes to the bed to make if more comfortable so I thought I'd throw this idea out there. They are not cheap but no good mattress is and with the versatility of this one I think it makes it a bit more easy to swallow. Plus it's an easy return at REI if you don't like it. So far I'm happy with it. We'll be camping for 4 nights this week so I'll let you know if I feel differently after that.

We have a 2021 400 and recently I tried the low point drain method only and found out it drains the lines but does not drain all the water out of the Alde. To do so I also had to open the pressure relief/drain valves, yellow flapper valves, to get more water out of the Alde. So as @ScottG said I suppose it just depends on how your trailer is plumbed. Best to test your trailer and see what happens.

Agreed. That is consistent with my (limited) trailer experience in which the recommended psi on the sticker matches the max psi on the ST tire.
This still leaves open the questions of why LG recommends a lower pressure in the manual, and why Dutchman purportedly outfitted their T@Bs with car tires.
I guess, if in doubt, I would go with the manufacturer's recommendation from the vehicle sticker, provided I was using the manufacturer's recommended tire (also indicated on the sticker).

A truly tragic story, that could have been avoided. The mon who left here children without adult supervision in her van is guilty of child neglect at the least, and possible child endangerment, and shares in the responsibly for this tragic accident. The guy that was camping and put a still hot item into the back,of his van, is also responsible due to his neglect. I do not see where Walmart is responsible at all. The parking lot is a, use at your own risk convenience.

Re: Alde Safety/drain valve Questions
I'm still a bit confused as to whether or not I have fully drained the hot water system.
After our last trip, I drained all tanks using the Low Level Drains located on the driver-side rear of our Tab 400bd(pump off, all water taps open). *See bottom photo of Low Level Drains below.
As a step of the draining process, the Alde 3020 manual states: "Open the safety/drain valve by turning the lever"[yellow lever]. Open is in the up position.
I did not do that step yet hot water exited the Low Level drain when I opened the valve on the outside drain.(Not the yellow lever on the inside.)
1. I'm wondering if I need to still open the yellow Safety/drain lever located inside the camper under the driver-side bed(see photo below) to fully drain all the hot water?
2. If so, which yellow lever should be opened? I'm assuming it's the yellow lever associated with the red (hot water) PEX pipe?
3. Also, what is the purpose of the yellow lever associated with the blue (cold water) PEX pipe?
4. The Alde 3020 manual also states to leave the valve in the open position(up) until the next time the boiler is used. Is this necessary?
The yellow valve on the blue, cold line is the Safety/Drain valve for the Alde Flow water tank. The yellow valve on the red, hot line is the Safety/Drain valve on the main Alde water tank. Open both of the drains to empty the tanks after the system has cooled. We did find that opening the low point drains will also allow for draining, but to be sure you have optimized emptying, I would start with the safety/drain valves, then open the low point drains for the remainder of the plumbing.
TaB owners without the Flow can just use the low point drain as the Alde is filled directly from a cold line, not via a connection with another tank.

@Sharon_is_SAM..Thanks for the clarification re the valves, levers and procedures. The side view photo is quite helpful. That photo is a much cleaner look than the spaghetti conglomerate plumbing inside our 400bd. Lots to pack in a small space.
