@Garyrr50. I looked at your photo of the wheel and fender flair. Your fender flair covers the top of the tire, and the top opening goes from a radius to a somewhat flat profile as it goes across the top, then arches back down. The Boondock fender flair is arched the same radius across the top of the wheel opening, and you can see the top of the tire tread. I am not sure when nüCamp added the new Boondock fender flair, but it was after the 2019 Boondock was introduced during the 2020 production runs.
That said, you can still use the standard fender flair on a Boondock axles, all the earlier Outback’s and 2019 Boondock used the standard flair. It just takes jacking the trailer higher and slipping the tire out bottom first when changing trie/wheel.
Well looks like both trailers may have the same flair. To be sure, post a photo of your fender flair wheel area, like ckjs did, and include a tape measure from the top of the flair at the trailer body to the opening above the tire. I can compare this measurement to mine, as can ckjs.
@Verna and @Sharon_is_SAM earlier in this thread there was a video listed from nuCamp that showed taking the screw out of the black mixing valve cap and removing the cap. Underneath the cap is a little black geared mechanism that should be flush with the brass casing. Ours was low and following the video directions we used the cap to bring the bottom of the inside piece up even with the brass. Bingo! We have ample hot water flowing to all the taps. We kept reading "adjust the mixer valve" which we did just by turning the black cap to its plus max. But if that doesn't work for you, you have to go further. We thought we had watched every video under the sun on the issue, but not this one https://cloud.nucamprv.com/index.php/s/Z2pHmpFwQpfHoM9 Thanks for all your help!
How close to the completion date were you when they sent the pictures?
The initial off-line date I was given was 3/8, they sent the pictures above on 8/23 and they were taken that same day. I was told that it was to go on line a week late (3/15) so it seems they went from on line to near completion in a week. I have not had any updates since then about actual shipment to the dealer in Madison, WI. We had asked for a delivery date around the middle of April when we ordered it last August and it would appear they'll hit that.
@andyboy - if you used about 1/4 C per 10-15 gallons of water you are fine. It does not need to reek of bleach to be effective. You are sanitizing, not sterilizing😊. Foaming sounds like residual AF. All you need to do is rinse it through again. Sorry.
I appreciate the efforts so many of you are making to get the vaccine wherever and whenever you can. I'll be doing the same when I am eligible (not for a least another month). This one is not just about you, but also the greater good--there's already concern that not enough people will be vaccinated to curtail the virus permanently. Since this vaccine--like its flu counterparts--may not confer permanent immunity, we could be doing this over and over again as new variants emerge and take hold.
This is not a political statement, it's a biological statement. Thanks again for doing your part.
My interest in the framing stems from a current issue I’m working on – the diagram seems to confirm my question/hope about a metal cross-member at the bottom leading edge of the trailer body.
Regarding ultras, I’ve only done a couple 50Ks (Dirty 30 in CO and Dead Horse in UT) and am strictly back-of-the-pack. Hoping to do the Never Summer 60K in July if I can rehab this $*(&^! Achilles.
I just scheduled my 2nd Moderna dose by calling(and spoke to a living human!) Walmart in Tennessee(where I will be on April 24th). Keeping in mind my 1st dose was administered in my home state. The Walmart is 30 minutes from my campsite!!😳.
FYI: CVS has a link on their website that states they will help you schedule the 2nd shot. I even spoke to a CSR to assist. NO ASSISTANCE! just "flip card" answers. Walmart says nothing about assisting with a second out of state shot on their website. So I called the pharmacy of the store that was near my camp to ask if I scheduled on line, could just get the second shot. The woman(soooo helpful & nice) said, "oh, we can schedule you for the day you need now." I was floored! ...and so we did!
I thought that I was going to have to either drive back to DC(9 hours each way) or drop $300.00 on a plane ticket!😳. Kudos to Walmart!
Hey T@B Forum. Wanted to update everyone on our visit to Platinum RV in Erin, ON. We visited a couple weeks ago and were lucky enough to view both a 320s and a 400 - both boondock editions. This RV dealer says he does not bother to bring in anything but boondocks. The 400 was already sold (no surprise there) but the 320s was actually still available for sale - a miracle! Long story short, we did not buy the 320s as we were able to determine that we would both be more comfortable in the 400. My husband is 5' 9" and the top of his head was brushing the roof in the 320s. For myself, at 5' 4", the 320s would be perfect for me height-wise, and I absolutely loved it! However, the 400 it will be. Everything about it seemed just right for us and our MB 400 should tow it handily. Planning to put in my order soon, with expectation to take delivery next spring. Can't wait to hit the road in this tidy little rig! Thanks for all the great advice and insights. Happy camping.
Finally hit the road in my new Tab 320S. Traveled throughout Florida seeing family and friends. What a treat. Here is a picture that my neighbor snapped on my way out. The other picture is the back of my trailer.
