The Sunflare panel was ~$600. Three hours shop time plus materials was about the same. I installed the second controller before taking it in. We're very happy with the quality of the work. The Sunflare panels are very high quality, roof service rated panels. That had a lot of value to me. My UniSolar panels on SUNT@B had a similar rating and were still performing as new after 12 years and 80k miles.
On paper your current setup does the job, but I agree that for long distance travel, high elevations like the Rocky Mountains a more substantial tow vehicle makes the drive less tiring. If you don't want a truck there are frame based SUVs (often based on truck chassis) like the Toyota Sequoia (or related Lexus models), Chevy Tahoe/GMC Yukon, Ford Expedition.
I don't work for BB and receive no compensation for this post. It is just a PSA. If you are in the market for BB batteries, this is the best sale I've seen. Good through April 26th:
Does anyone out there know who manufactures the windows for the 2018 Tab 320S? The reason I ask is the plastic border on one of the windows is cracked and I would like to replace this before it breaks. It would be helpful to have the assembly guide to understand how this is accomplished.
Thanks for any help provided.
Jim
UPDATE: Please note I found much of the information asked for in the thread
I spoke to Shaun yesterday about the green light issue with my WF-8955-ad. I asked for detailed pictures showing the location and orientation of the jumper placement. Shaun sent the pictures I posted earlier and he is sending the jumper which I will install once received. I will update my post once it is in place.
