To be contrarian, I usually deal with rinsing and cleaning when I get home. I rinse the tank through the toilet with a garden hose then drain into a bucket and properly dispose of the rinse water.
Not necessarily a better solution, just one that eliminates having to carry another waste hose and having to futz around at a scuzzy crowded dump station. It all depends on what you consider the bigger hassle.
I should note, however, that we've never used our black tank for, um, solids. If we did I might be a bit more particular about rinsing out at the dump station!
Whilst the stabilizing Jack is rated for 1,000lbs, the frame attache point is not rated for that much weight, especially on the TaB400, the practice of using the stabilizing jacks to,change the fire is no longer recommended by nüCamp. Cheers
I’m not sure that the dimensions from a Tab 320 will be useful to you despite the kitchen looking similar. Your Ultimate Toys teardrop is actually quite a bit wider than a Tab 320, and I would think that means there’s some difference in cabinet sizes as well. (7’6” width versus 6’8”)
It is certainly interesting to watch people at the "dump stations". You see everything from using nothing but maybe a pair of gloves (me) to a full hazmat suit. I am typically dumped and gone while others are still suiting up.
Bottom line, do what makes you comfortable. Even if you have a catastrophe (watched that a few weeks ago when the black tank was opened without a hose connected), it washes off with a bit of soap and water.
As you describe it, I don't think that's something I would worry about as long as you still get the same water pressure when you ask for it. I think there is a small filter on the pump itself, maybe check if it needs cleaning?
I tow our 2019 400 BDL with a 2010 Tacoma V6. I put air springs in the rear just to level things out but it tows and as importantly, brakes fine. No friction sway bar, no weight distribution hitch. You will be fine as is IMHO.
We were beginning to think we were the only ones who would want a small fridge and would want to keep the wardrobe.
Our wardrobe is not the ‘fancy’ version with the cubbies, but it is large and extremely easy to access clothes. Last weekend we saw rain, heat, cold and more rain in the same day, so we were changing often. Where do people keep clothes if not for the wardrobe? We do have under bed access but it is inconvenient to dig through.
Before you go all out and throw money at the problem make sure all the basics work: Power from the tow vehicle, wiring from the plug to the trailer battery (both positive and negative side), do all the trailer lights and the trailer brake work.
Voltage drop over longer wire runs can cause slower charging but rarely no charging at all. A DC/DC converter can't defy the physics of the wiring limitations, voltage x current is the same on both sides (minus losses in the DC/DC converter).
I think before you decide to swap out batteries you need to find out why your TV is not charging the battery you have. The internet post about alternator being to far is false, unless you have a wiring issue from the alt to your 7 pin. I have a 320 and never had an issue with my TV recharging the T@B battery. Get a 7 pin tester to verify, but even before that your battery meter should show 13+ volts when you have the TV running and T@B connected via 7 pin, if not then you need to troubleshoot your 7 pin and or the converter
