My impression is that NuCamp is very responsive to feedback about dealers, so if you have the time you might reach out to them. Telling people to turn off the battery switch while driving is dangerous.

The panels will charge the battery whenever the panels are in the sun, no matter what the position of the switch. The solar panels are connected directly to the battery. At around 4:49 she says the solar charges the battery "whenever it is in the sun."

I like the Alde too but I agree on the glycol and maintenance and issues that come with it. Honestly if I had my choice I would opt for a Truma combi comfort plus unit. If my Alde every corrodes out or just craps out someday I plan on see if I can retrofit it with a Truma unit.

I disconnected the outside shower . . . just wish I could have 'factory deleted it'
its more trouble/problems than its worth for my style of camping

We have a vent cover so the fan is always open a crack. I wouldn't ever travel with any of the windows not fully latched all the way closed.
