Extra Long Lagun Table
Bought some scrap maple and walnut pieces from a local cabinet maker and made a new top for my Lagun table.
It's actually 36" long (8" longer than the original).
I'm hoping the extra length and weight on the bracket don't present any problems. Please let me know if anyone has any input. I can always cut it down if I have to. If necessary, I can cut the extra length off and attach it as a drop leaf. I'm hoping the extra length will be handy as extra prep surface for cooking.

Hi @josiet. Welcome! I’m in Denver. I was researching Alde service in Colorado for an issue that I was eventually able to resolve myself. But before that I found and made an appointment with a place in Colorado Springs for service. I can’t find the email but I think it’s Sun City Trailers https://www.suncitytrailers.com/. I found them by searching for Nucamp Cirrus (their truck camper that also has the Alde) dealers/service.
I also remember getting referred to TransWest which has a few locations in Colorado. I know I called them but can’t remember if they could service Alde. I know these options aren’t close to SS but hope this helps!

We finally got around to setting up the tailgate awning today. There may be some benefit to adding pipe-insulation or pool noodles on the tailgate corners. @StepheninDen have you had any issues there?

Not unusual for a dealer installed lead acid battery to fail after 3 years. You don’t say how long you Boondock, but, many casual boondockers get by with a 100 AHr battery. AGM will get you at least 50 AHr and a lithium battery will get you almost 100 AHr of use.

As Tabaz noted, attaching guy lines to the trailer will result in the visor being flipped over the trailer in a moderate wind. Not recommended. You cannot fully open the door with anything in the keder rail as far as I’m aware. (And FYI...the door shouldn’t be fully open if running a 2018-2020 fridge on propane, because you’re blocking the vents.)

Quick update. Replaced the carburetor and all is fine. Somewhere in that old carb is a clog but I can’t find it. Paid $37 for a new carb but I guess it’s cheaper than having a mechanic look at it…and now I know how to disassemble and work on it now.
Re: Issues with TAB400 Air Conditioner
Level is not critical for cooling but is for draining condensate. If anything, a little lean to the AC side helps assure the catch pan drains toward the outlet tubes.
