I posed the question to etrailer: My Tab 400 camper’s original tires are load range C with a max inflation of 50 psi. The trailer rating sticker gives an inflation of 50 psi. I have replaced the tires with Goodyear Endurance tires load range D with a max inflation of 65 psi. What PSI should I inflate the new tires to? 50 or 65psi - or somewhere in between?

When inflating trailer tires the recommendation is to inflate the tire to the max tire pressure listed on the sidewall when the tires are cold. So if your max pressure is 65 then that is what you would need to inflate to when cold. The increased pressure when hot is normal.
If you don't inflate to max pressure the tires will not get their full capacity and heat will build up which will cause premature failure.

You want to drill JUST the head of the rivet. Once you have drilled far enough to separate the head of the rivet from the shank you can easily pull the shank and the expanded part of it out from the PVC tube side. Aluminum rivets are soft so drill slowly.

I want to apologize to all of you for being an “absent host” online this year. I’m in Southern California with my Mom for the third time this year helping her as her health declines and memory slips. She’s in a progressive care community so she is well cared for and I’m currently getting her belongings sorted and packed to move into assisted living. She is in a temporary room there now, waiting for a private room. My brother and I spent the weekend working hard, dealing with legal and financial stuff, so it’s all tidied up along with packing. Who knew he is great at packing delicate knick-nacks! I’m here a few more days, then home to rest a day then back to work, and Lincoln Rock planning! Know that my Lincoln Rock team has been quietly working behind the scenes to help make this another great gathering! I can’t wait to be camping this season. Thanks for your patience!

Screen/shade mod
Does anyone know if the window screen/shade unit can be flipped? By flipped I mean that currently the shade comes up from the bottom and the screen comes down from the top. I’d like to have it the other way with the shade coming down and the screen going up.
Is this something trivial to swap?

I had two units that did the same thing. Seems like a pretty common issue with these units. I also had another problem of the volume going up by itself. The only thing that solved both issues was replacing the head unit twice. You can alternatively reach out to Jensen and they can also send you a new unit as well if it’s still under warranty and skip the dealer visit. The side plastic clips pull out and then there are just a couple of square bit screws holding it in. A few wire disconnects and it will come right out. Honestly it’s about a 5-10min swap max.napjerk said:Our the Jensen in our 2018 320 S will not read a DVD at all. We have tried several attempts to reset and no luck. Short answer is you don’t want to mix dissimilar metals such as brass TPMS sensors with steel or aluminum stems or vise versa. I started USING brass for this reason as my sensors had brass connectors and I guess have just continued using them. Moreover, I live near saltwater and the aluminum stems don’t fare well.

Yes, ScottG, PV/nüCamp did manufacture the 4-, 5-, 6-wides, the Silver Shadow, and the MyPod. LG owns the rights to all of those. To the best of my knowledge, none are currently in production, including the MyPod.
I have seen a used 2018 MyPod for sale, but the new models are manufactured beginning in the March/April timeframe of the previous year, so it could have been one of the last ones manufactured by PV/nüCamp.
A bit more history on the PV/üCamp production of teardrops.....within 6 months of PV/pre nüCamp introducing the T@G teardrop, the one teardrop production line was then producing 85% of T@G’s. That means the T@G displaced 85% of the orders for the other models. The new T@G took over the teardrop manufacturing industry like a storm. The T@G is still a great money maker for nüCamp, as is the rest of their product line, and has as loyal of a following as the T@B’s do.
I started my tear dropping exactly 7 years ago today (March 21, 2012) in an LG 4’x8’ teardrop (full bed inside), bought a 5’x10’ Silver Shadow (queen bed with a “clamshell kitchen”), 14 months later, a T@B S Max 26 months later, and 3 years later I now have my T@B 400. Over 50,000 miles on those 4 combined. I’m happy.
